the role : \n\nYou will design, build and maintain ETL data pipelines using Ab Initio to move and transform large volumes of data for reporting and analytics.\n\nWhat you will do : \n\n- Design, develop and maintain ETL graphs and plans using Ab Initio\n\n- Extract data from multiple sources, transform it and load it into target systems\n\n- Use Ab Initio components, parallelism and partitioning for high-volume processing\n\n- Tune graphs and troubleshoot performance issues\n\n- Schedule and monitor batch jobs, and fix failures\n\n- Write SQL and Unix shell scripts to support data processing and validation\n\n- Work with data architects, testers and business teams to meet data requirements\n\n- Document designs and support production releases\n\nWhat you need : \n\n- 8+ years of experience in ETL development, with strong hands-on Ab Initio experience\n\n- Strong knowledge of Ab Initio GDE, Co>Operating System, EME and Conduct>It\n\n- Strong SQL skills with databases such as Oracle, Teradata or SQL Server\n\n- Good Unix/Linux shell scripting skills\n\n- Understanding of data warehousing, data modelling and ETL/ELT concepts\n\n- Experience with batch scheduling tools such as Control-M or Autosys\n\n- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills\n\nNice to have : \n\n- Experience with Ab Initio Metadata Hub, Express>It or BRE\n\n- Experience with Hadoop, Hive
