The role involves adapting existing Infrastructure-as-Code templates, operationalising CI/CD pipelines, managing EKS deployment configurations, and automating application recovery processes to meet stringent recovery timelines.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\n- Adapt and parameterise existing Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) templates to meet IRE naming, tagging, and addressing standards without impacting production configurations.\n\n- Operationalise existing CI/CD pipelines and automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform and/or AWS CloudFormation.\n\n- Set up GitLab with private runners within the isolated environment and enable API Hub and observability capabilities.\n\n- Own CI/CD deployment activities, including pipeline execution, deployment automation, and recovery workflow orchestration.\n\n- Manage Helm charts and Kubernetes configurations for the in-scope Amazon EKS cluster.\n\n- Automate repeatable infrastructure and application recovery processes to achieve the 48-hour Tier-0 recovery window.\n\n- Develop deployment automation for designated applications within the cloud recovery environment using Python, Bash, and relevant DevOps tools.\n\n- Instrument pipeline and deployment telemetry to measure and validate recovery timings during testing.\n\n- Document automation workflows, recovery procedures, runbooks, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for operational handover.\n\n- Collaborate with platform, cloud, and application teams to ensure reliable deployments within the isolated environment.\n\nMandatory Skills:\n\n- 8+ years of experience in cloud automation, DevOps, and infrastructure engineering.\n\n- Strong hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and/or AWS CloudFormation.\n\n- Experience with GitLab CI/CD, pipeline configuration, and private runners.\n\n- Strong knowledge of GitOps practices, immutable infrastructure, and automated deployment workflows.\n\n- Hands-on experience with Amazon EKS, Kubernetes configurations, and Helm charts.\n\n- Proficiency in Python and/or Bash scripting for automation.\n\n- Experience automating infrastructure provisioning, application deployments, and recovery workflows.\n\n- Ability to work with existing CI/CD pipelines and IaC repositories while maintaining production isolation.\n\n- Experience with deployment monitoring, pipeline telemetry, and operational documentation.\n\nPreferred Experience:\n\n- Experience automating disaster recovery or isolated recovery environments.\n\n- Familiarity with AWS cloud infrastructure and secure deployment practices.\n\n- Experience with API integration and observability enablement.\n\n- Understanding of recovery time objectives and time-bound recovery execution.\n\n- Experience creating operational runbooks and SOPs for production handover.\n\nKey Deliverables:\n\n- Adapted IaC templates aligned with IRE standards.\n\n- Operational CI/CD pipelines and GitLab private runners within the isolated environment.\n\n- Configured EKS deployments, Helm charts, and Kubernetes resources.\n\n- Automated infrastructure and application recovery workflows aligned with the 48-hour Tier-0 recovery
