DryvIQ brings intelligent content discovery, classification, sensitivity detection, and policy-driven governance to enterprise unstructured data across cloud and on-premises repositories.\nWe are looking for a Senior Software Engineer in Test (SDET) to strengthen and scale automated quality across DryvIQ's complex, Kubernetes-based distributed application environment.\nThis is a hands-on senior engineering role with a primary focus on C#/.NET test automation. You will maintain, extend, and improve existing automation frameworks, build high-value automated coverage, strengthen test infrastructure, and help automation scale as the DryvIQ platform evolves. You do not need to have built an automation framework from scratch; what matters is demonstrated depth improving and scaling automation in a complex software environment.\nYou'll work across APIs, integrations, distributed and asynchronous workflows, containerized deployments, and user-facing functionality. Python and PyTest experience is valuable as we expand reusable tooling and cross-team libraries, but C#/.NET is the primary technical stack for this role.\nThis role is for an engineer who approaches quality as a software-engineering problem, applying strong coding, debugging, systems thinking, and test-design judgment rather than focusing only on test execution.\nWhat You'll Do\nMaintain, extend, and scale existing C#/.NET-based test automation frameworks supporting DryvIQ.\n\nDesign and implement reliable automated validation across API, integration, system, UI, regression, and end-to-end testing layers.\n\nImprove framework architecture, reusable components, test utilities, test-data capabilities, diagnostics, reporting, and maintainability.\n\nBuild automated testing for Kubernetes-based, containerized, distributed applications, including multi-service and asynchronous workflows.\n\nIdentify automation gaps, product risks, flaky tests, and framework limitations and prioritize improvements based on engineering and release impact.\n\nBuild automated validation for APIs, microservices, distributed processing, asynchronous jobs, cloud and on-premises repositories, connectors, and enterprise integrations.\n\nValidate installation, deployment, configuration, upgrade, recovery, and failure scenarios in containerized environments.\n\nIntegrate automated validation into CI/CD pipelines and improve the speed and quality of release feedback.\n\nDiagnose complex failures using application logs, APIs, Kubernetes/container evidence, telemetry, exceptions, service behavior, and other system evidence.\n\nPartner with developers to improve testability and determine the appropriate balance of unit, API, integration, system, and end-to-end coverage.\n\nCreate maintainable automation patterns and reusable libraries that can be adopted by developers and QA engineers.\n\nContribute to Python/PyTest-based utilities, tooling, or shared libraries as cross-team automation capabilities evolve.\n\nHelp QA teammates strengthen automation skills through pairing, code reviews, examples, and technical guidance.\n\nUse approved AI-assisted engineering tools where appropriate for test design, code generation, scenario discovery, debugging, and coverage analysis, while independently validating generated outputs.\n\nDevelop appropriate testing and validation approaches for AI-assisted or non-deterministic functionality.\n\nQualifications\nMust-Have\n6+ years of software engineering, SDET, test automation, or quality engineering experience with substantial hands-on automation development.\n\nStrong hands-on programming and test automation experience using C# and .NET.\n\nDemonstrated experience maintaining, extending, troubleshooting, and scaling an existing test automation framework.\n\nExperience improving framework reliability, maintainability, reusable components, utilities, test infrastructure, or execution efficiency.\n\nStrong hands-on experience testing Kubernetes-based, containerized, distributed applications.\n\nStrong understanding of Kubernetes, containers, distributed-system behavior, service dependencies, asynchronous processing, and failure modes.\n\nExperience building automated validation across APIs, integrations, systems, and end-to-end workflows.\n\nExperience testing microservices, asynchronous processing, or comparable distributed workflows.\n\nExperience integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.\n\nAbility to diagnose complex failures using logs, APIs, application exceptions, Kubernetes/container evidence, telemetry, and system behavior.\n\nStrong judgment about what to automate, at which testing layer, and when manual or exploratory testing provides greater value.\n\nStrong collaboration skills working with software engineers, Product, DevOps, and QA peers.\n\nPreferred\nHands-on experience with Python and PyTest, particularly for test utilities, reusable libraries, tooling, fixtures, or cross-team automation.\n\nExperience working in engineering environments where C#/.NET and Python-based automation coexist.\n\nExperience creating reusable automation components or shared libraries used across teams.\n\nPlaywright, Cypress, Selenium, or comparable UI automation technologies.\n\nAWS and/or Azure experience.\n\nAKS, EKS, K3s, or comparable Kubernetes environments.\n\nCloud and on-premises connectors and storage integrations.\n\nSMB/NFS, S3, Azure Blob, or comparable enterprise data technologies.\n\nPostgres, ClickHouse, Keycloak, software or test-engineering tools with disciplined validation of generated outputs.\n\nIdeal\nSignificant experience improving automation for a complex product previously dependent on manual regression.\n\nExperience evolving an established automation framework as product scale, architecture, or engineering requirements changed.\n\nStrong experience testing distributed C#/.NET
