MAJOR FUNCTIONS:\nUnder the strategic direction of the Chapter Executive Director, the Continuing Education & Program Coordinator oversees and supports the planning, coordination, and implementation of continuing education programs and chapter events for Florida and Georgia chapters. \nThis role works closely with the Chapters Executive Director, Director of Communication, Membership and Program Coordinator, Executive Assistant, and Chapter interns. \n\nII. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:\n\nContinuing Education Coordination:\nAssists the Executive Director and other staff in developing revenue-generating continuing education (CE) programs, events, and resources for NASW Georgia and NASW Florida and promoting these programs through all appropriate channels.\nHandles registrations, confirmations, and participant communications of CE events to Georgia and Florida chapter members. \nSupports speaker coordination, materials collection, and program setup for both Chapters.\nTracks attendance and prepares CE certificates and documentation for both Chapters and maintains CE files as required by Georgia and Florida law. Tabulate evaluations and conduct follow-up as needed.\nProvides responsive support to CE participants and event attendees in Georgia and Florida.\n\nConference and Special Events Support:\nSupports the Communication Director on the planning and execution of the annual conferences and Social Work Month events for Florida and Georgia.\nSupports event timelines, run-of-show execution, and post-event follow-up for programs in Georgia and Florida including preparing event materials, signage, and on-site coordination needs.\nSupports accessibility and accommodation requests for Georgia and Florida members. \nAssist the Membership Coordinator with promotion of membership programming and events.\n\nIII. MINIMUM WORK REQUIREMENTS:\n\nSkills:\nExceptional organizational skills to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and ongoing administrative tasks\nStrong written and verbal communication to handle correspondence, prepare reports, and liaise with members and stakeholders\nAttention to detail for accurate data entry and documentation.\nProfessional and courteous customer service when assisting members via phone, email, and social media\nProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)\nComfort with online platforms for CE tracking, event registration, and virtual meeting logistics.\nBasic knowledge of tools such as PDF and Canva.\n\nKnowledge:\nBachelor's degree in social work, public administration, nonprofit management, or a related discipline.\nKnowledge of social work practice, policies, and ethical standards, including the NASW Code of Ethics.\nFamiliarity with licensing procedures and state CE laws (Florida and Georgia specific knowledge is preferred)\n\nExperience:\nMinimum of 2 years of professional experience supporting event planning.\nExperience supporting event planning and committees.\nExperience handling member records and financial information with confidentiality and professionalism.\n\nIV.
