In this role, you will be responsible for designing and integrating aircraft avionics and electrical systems, including electrical architecture development, power distribution design, grounding network design, and system-level integration.\nMain Responsibilities:\nDevelop, design, and integrate aircraft level electrical and avionics systems\nAnalyze and manage total aircraft electrical loads and distribution networks\nDesign robust and redundant power distribution systems\nPerform system level trade studies and interface with suppliers to develop the aircraft avionics system\nWork across teams to manage the integration of the electrical and avionics systems\nDesign and integrate aircraft level grounding systems for composite airframes\nRequirements\nA minimum of 7 years of directly related work experience\nBachelor of Science in Aerospace or Mechanical engineering or equivalent work experience\nFundamental knowledge of aircraft electrical subsystems & associated requirements\nExperience with electrical system architecture and analysis\nStrong understanding of aircraft grounding\nExperience with composite airframe electrical system development\nProficiency in NX, CATIA, or SolidWorks\nExperience planning and executing various system tests\nElectrical harness design, build and installation\nCapable of working with teammates to determine electrical load & wiring requirements for aircraft components\nExperience establishing requirements, developing schematic drawings, creating a bill of materials and designing electrical power systems\nExecuting and leading systems tests and checkouts\nDesire to work in a manufacturing environment working with techs and a multidisciplinary engineering team\nUnderstanding of Part 23 requirements\nCore Behaviors:\nBuild trust through ownership, transparency, and follow-through\nCommunicates clearly, directly, and respectfully across teams\nLead by example and model expected behaviors\nAbility to give and receive direct, constructive feedback\nComfortable operating in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with evolving priorities\nTravel Requirements:\nOccasional travel and on-site work at the local hangar may be required\nCompensation:\nThe expected salary range for this position is $120,000 to $170,000 annually.
