Must be able to develop mechanics’ skills and/or provide training to further their skill level to improve individual and facility performance.\nPractice safe work habits. Follow proper lock-out tag-out tag out procedures as required. Completes all OSHA-required training as required and corrects any unsafe conditions as necessary. Issues discipline as required for unsafe acts.\nResponds to calls from line supervisors or operators to repair equipment as needed.\nPerforms package change-overs on equipment as required.\nSchedule preventative maintenance on equipment as required.\nParticipates daily in meetings and reports maintenance department objectives and opportunities.\nWorks with the Production Manager to analyze downtime data to prevent or minimize recurring issues and improve on the process.\nDelivers consistent superior product quality by enforcing quality standards; and maintaining HACCP and GMPs.\nImproves quality results by studying, evaluating, and re-designing processes; and implementing changes.\nMaximizes equipment operation by developing and scheduling preventive maintenance; and organizing change-overs.\nDirects, maintains, and enforces the safety program for the maintenance department; reviews safety records to uphold standards.\nUpdates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; and participating in professional organizations.\nEnsure fair, equitable, and respectful treatment of all employees.\nOther duties as assigned by the Plant Manager.\nLANGUAGE SKILLS:\nAbility to read, analyze, and interpret common information, reports, and other documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or company representatives. Field positions will be exposed to various unfamiliar conditions where Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) must be worn and which may include, but are not limited to: manufacturing and warehouse plants, and other venues as directed by the supervisor. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate but increases significantly in warehouse and manufacturing plants.\n\nMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:\nTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.\nBachelor's Degree in Engineering, supply chain management, logistics, or equivalent from an accredited university.\nMinimum of 7-10 years of experience in related.
