Embrace possibilities and be open to new ideas and creating bold solutions.\nAbout the role\nThe City of Sydney is seeking a dedicated and motivated Security Operator to join our Security Operations team.\nOur team provides 24-hour security and alarm monitoring services across City properties, helping to protect our people, community and assets. The role includes CCTV and alarm monitoring, security system operations, incident response and monitoring of the Street Safety Camera Program.\nWe are looking for someone who works well as part of a team, communicates effectively and can remain calm and responsive in a busy security environment. You will use your judgement and attention to detail to identify and respond to security incidents, alarms and other emerging situations, while providing a professional and responsive service to staff and members of the public.\nThe Security Operations team operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
