Counsels Drivers on performance issues and areas for improvement.\nSupervises assigned Lead Drivers.\nWorks with Dunkin’ Stores and Distribution Center (as a liaison) in problem-solving delivery issues.\nAdministers progressive discipline when required.\nEnforces all company policies, DOT and FMCSA regulations.\nAssists Operations Scheduler with driver’s weekly schedules, vacations, and time off requests.\nOrientate and develops new drivers.\nAssists in compiling, monitoring, managing, and implementing the driver performance metrics and incentive program if applicable.\nManage fleet utilization, tracking status of vehicle/equipment, monitoring equipment on Out of Service report and working with Penske/Ryder as needed.\nEnsures compliance with DOT hours of service.\nReacts timely and effectively to breakdowns and accidents.\nOversees Hub Locations (as assigned) with possible overnight travel to hub locations, assessing routes and Drivers.\nAssists Router in daily route planning as needed.\nWorks with the Safety Manager on proper safe driving techniques, proper lifting, and training in all required DOT regulations.\nAccepts and assists with special projects as required.\nSupervision Exercised\nThis position has direct supervisory responsibilities\nQualifications\nWhat you bring:\nHigh School Diploma or equivalent required.\n3 to 5 years' experience managing a high-volume delivery route; preferably food delivery experience.\nMinimum of 2 years of supervisory experience in a transportation-related role within the quick service restaurant industry.\nStrong understanding of the Federal Motor Carrier Rules and Regulations. \nKnowledge of related OSHA standards and regulations.\nProficient in Microsoft Office software, including Outlook, Word, and Excel. \nSAP experience preferred.\nOn Board Computer System Experience required. \nPrior experience with routing software. Appian preferred.\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills.\nStrong leadership and decision-making capabilities required.\nExcellent interpersonal and collaboration skills required.\nWilling and able to work flexible/extended work schedules as needed.\nCDL license and current DOT medical card a plus\nEqual Opportunity Employer:\nNDCP is an equal opportunity employer.
