This role is focused on training coordination, facilitation, logistics, and administrative support. The successful candidate will work closely with TLS leadership, field supervisors, instructors, vendors, and Learning & Development to ensure training events are planned, resourced, documented, and executed successfully.\nThe ideal candidate has a strong understanding of electric utility operations, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to effectively support both classroom and field-based learning activities.\nKey Responsibilities\nTraining Administration & Coordination\nServe as the primary coordinator for TLS training activities.\nManage training schedules, class rosters, attendance records, and training documentation.\nCoordinate classroom, field, and vendor-led training logistics.\nEnsure required materials, equipment, tooling, and resources are available prior to training events.\nSupport annual training cycles, progression schools, compliance training, and refresher programs. \nFacilitation & Learner Support\nFacilitate portions of classroom and hands-on training programs.\nSupport instructors and subject matter experts during training delivery.\nAssist in administering practical evaluations, sign-offs, and training records.\nHelp ensure a positive learning experience for employees attending TLS training programs.\nStakeholder & Vendor Management\nAct as a liaison between Training, TLS Leadership, Field Operations, vendors, and union training representatives.\nCoordinate scheduling and communication with outside vendors and internal stakeholders.\nSupport planning meetings and assist with training readiness reviews. \nProgram Support & Continuous Improvement\nMaintain and update training materials, records, and learning resources.\nAssist with curriculum revisions and training program improvements.\nTrack program metrics and support reporting requirements.\nIdentify opportunities to improve training efficiency, consistency, and learner readiness.\nWhat You'll Need\nRequired Qualifications\nExperience in electric utility operations, training, workforce development, or a relatedfield.\nStrong organizational, administrative, and project coordination skills.\nAbility to work independently and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.\nComfortable facilitating meetings, training sessions, and group discussions.\nStrong communicationand relationship-building skills.\nPreferred Qualifications\nElectric utility experience.\nExperience coordinating training programs or workforce development initiatives.\nExperience working with field operations, transmission, distribution, substation, or related utility functions.\nPrior experience leading groups, mentoring employees, or facilitatingtraining.\nKnowledge of adult learning principles and training administration.\nWhy Join the Team\nThis position provides critical support to TLS leadership by ensuring training programs are organized, effective, and ready to meet workforce demands.
