Membership of a professional body (e.g. ICE, Geological Society, IOMMM). \nDemonstrable experience in: Geotechnical engineering and/or engineering geology. Ground investigation techniques, scoping and procurement. Managing geotechnical risk, including identification, understanding ground conditions and mitigation. Preparation of reports to CD 622 and/or BS EN 1997. \nAwareness of the Design Manual for Roads and Bridges (DMRB) and its application along with infrastructure design and asset management decision making. \nFamiliarity with GIS software (QGIS / ArcGIS) and data management, along with other typical geotechnical packages. \nUnderstanding of CDM Regulations and safe working practices. \nAbout us\nHere at National Highways, we manage and improve England’s motorways and major A roads, helping our customers have safer, smoother and more reliable journeys.
