Make good.\nPlease note that we do not offer visa sponsorship for this position.\nRole Summary\nThe Project Manager is accountable for orchestrating end-to-end delivery across teams, ensuring work is aligned to outcomes and flows efficiently through the system. This role facilitates decision-making, manages dependencies, and adapts plans in response to changing conditions. The Project Manager operates as a connector across stakeholders, enabling clarity, coordination, and progress toward business value.\nThis position currently offers an onsite work schedule, with the expectation that you are in the office four days per week during onsite core days. Our current onsite core days are Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. The work schedule type and core days are subject to change with advance notification and manager discretion.\nThis role requires a minimum of 5 years of Life and Annuity industry experience.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities\nInitiation & Value Alignment\nEnsure initiatives are aligned to clearly defined outcomes and success criteria\nTranslate business objectives into actionable delivery plans\nContinuously validate that execution aligns to intended value\nAdaptive Planning & Flow Management\nOrchestrate sequencing of work across teams and functions\nManage dependencies, capacity constraints, and bottlenecks proactively\nAdapt plans and priorities based on evolving conditions and insights\nRisk, Uncertainty & Decision Enablement\nSurface tradeoffs and options (scope, time, cost, value) clearly\nFacilitate team-level decision-making and escalation paths\nBalance governance with flow to enable timely decisions\nStakeholder Alignment & Influence\nAlign stakeholders across business and technology functions\nManage expectations through transparency of progress and risks\nFacilitate communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution\nMinimum Qualifications\n5-9 years of experience managing cross-functional projects end-to-end\nMinimum of 5 years of experience within the Life and Annuity industry\nProven ability to deliver outcomes (not just outputs) in a dynamic environment\nStrong capability in dependency management, sequencing, and flow optimization\nDemonstrated experience facilitating decisions and managing tradeoffs\nExperience operating across multiple delivery approaches (Agile, hybrid, predictive)\nAbility to influence without authority and align diverse stakeholders\nStrong communication skills translating complex topics into actionable insights\nPMP or equivalent experience preferred; evidence of delivering measurable outcomes required\nBenefits\nYour benefits start day one and are flexible and customizable to your and your family’s specific needs. The base pay range for this position is the range National Life reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for the position taking into account the wide variety of factors, including: prior experience and job-related knowledge; education, training and certificates; current business needs; and market factors. The final salary or hourly wages offered may be outside of this range based on other reasons and individual circumstances.\nAdditional Compensation and Benefits. The total compensation package for this position may also include a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. The successful candidate may also be eligible to participate in National Life’s discretionary annual incentive programs, subject to the rules governing such programs.
