We provide career advancement opportunities from within the organization across multiple locations in the US, South America, and India.\nLocation: Plantation, Florida (Onsite)\nRole:\n DATA ENGINEER I\nThe Technology & Data team is seeking a Data Engineer I to support the development, maintenance, and optimization of enterprise data solutions within a healthcare environment. This role will work closely with senior engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to build and support data pipelines, data integrations, and reporting solutions. The ideal candidate has foundational experience with Databricks, SQL, SQL Server, SSIS, PL/SQL, and healthcare data.\nKey Responsibilities\nSupport the design, development, and maintenance of ETL/ELT data pipelines using Databricks and SQL technologies.\nAssist with data ingestion, transformation, and integration processes across enterprise systems.\nDevelop and maintain SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and database objects.\nSupport the development and maintenance of SSIS packages and data integration workflows.\nWork with Databricks and Apache Spark to process and transform data.\nTroubleshoot data quality issues and assist with production support activities.\nCollaborate with business users, analysts, and engineering teams to deliver data solutions.\nCreate and maintain technical documentation and process documentation.\nSupport data governance, data quality, and HIPAA compliance initiatives.\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.\n0-3 years of experience in Data Engineering, Data Warehousing, Database Development, or a related field.\nWorking knowledge of Databricks and Apache Spark.\nStrong SQL skills with the ability to write and troubleshoot complex queries.\nExperience with Microsoft SQL Server.\nExposure to SSIS and PL/SQL development.\nUnderstanding of ETL/ELT concepts and data integration processes.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.\nExcellent communication and teamwork skills.\nPreferred Qualifications\nHealthcare industry experience working with claims, provider, member, clinical, or operational data.\nExperience with Python or PySpark.\nKnowledge of data warehousing and dimensional
