Role: Location: Plantation, FL (On-site) Network Administrator\nAbout the Role\nWe are seeking a highly skilled Network Administrator to join our IT Infrastructure team. This role is responsible for managing, maintaining, and optimizing our enterprise network environment across on-premises and cloud platforms. The ideal candidate is a hands-on professional with strong experience in network administration, cloud connectivity, cybersecurity best practices, and infrastructure operations.\nYou will play a key role in ensuring the reliability, security, and performance of our network infrastructure while supporting infrastructure modernization initiatives and collaborating with Infrastructure, Security, Cloud, and Service Desk teams.\nKey Responsibilities\nNetwork Administration & Operations\nManage, monitor, and maintain enterprise network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, wireless networks, VPNs, SD-WAN, and cloud connectivity.\nAdminister and troubleshoot DNS, DHCP, IP addressing, VLANs, routing, switching, NAT, VPNs, and firewall policies.\nSupport LAN, WAN, WLAN, and hybrid cloud networking environments.\nDiagnose and resolve network performance, connectivity, routing, latency, and application access issues.\nPerform network upgrades, hardware refreshes, migrations, and infrastructure improvement projects.\nMaintain network diagrams, IP address documentation, device inventories, and configuration standards.\nParticipate in change management by documenting, reviewing, and implementing network changes.\nCloud Networking & SD-WAN\nSupport SD-WAN environments, including routing, policy management, failover, and performance optimization.\nAssist with networking across Azure, AWS, or GCP cloud environments.\nConfigure and support virtual networks, subnets, routing tables, network security groups, VPN gateways, cloud firewalls, and private connectivity solutions.\nCollaborate with Cloud and Infrastructure teams to ensure secure connectivity between on-premises environments and cloud platforms.\nNetwork Security\nImplement secure network configurations aligned with cybersecurity best practices.\nManage firewall policies, network segmentation, VPN access, and Zero Trust initiatives.\nSupport vulnerability remediation, network hardening, patch management, and security compliance activities.\nPartner with Security teams to investigate network alerts, suspicious activity, and access-related incidents.\nEnsure network devices are securely configured, backed up, monitored, and regularly updated.\nAutomation & Documentation\nSupport Infrastructure as Code (IaC) initiatives using Terraform or similar automation tools.\nAssist with scripting and automation to improve deployment consistency and operational efficiency.\nCreate and maintain network documentation, SOPs, runbooks, troubleshooting guides, and operational procedures.\nDocument incidents, root cause analyses, remediation activities, and configuration changes.\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).\n4+ years of experience in Network Administration, Network Engineering, or Infrastructure Operations.\nStrong hands-on experience with:DNS, DHCP, IPAM\nRouting and Switching\nVLANs\nFirewalls\nVPNs\nWireless networking\nSD-WAN\nNetwork monitoring tools\n\nExperience supporting hybrid cloud networking in Azure, AWS, or GCP.\nStrong understanding of network security, segmentation, firewall management, and secure configurations.\nProven ability to troubleshoot complex network issues across on-premises and cloud environments.\nExperience maintaining technical documentation, diagrams, and operational procedures.\nExcellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.\nSelf-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience with Terraform or other Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.\nExperience in regulated environments such as Healthcare, Financial Services, HIPAA, PCI, or SOC 2.\nHands-on experience with one or more of the following technologies:Cisco\nFortinet\nPalo Alto\nMeraki\nAruba\nJuniper\nZscaler\n\nExperience with Azure networking services, including:Virtual Networks (VNets)\nNetwork Security Groups (NSGs)\nAzure Firewall\nExpressRoute\nVPN Gateway\nPrivate Endpoints\n\nExperience with PowerShell, Python, YAML, or infrastructure automation.\nFamiliarity with monitoring platforms such as SolarWinds, PRTG, LogicMonitor, or Datadog.\nIndustry certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, Network+, Security+, Fortinet NSE, or
