Success requires more than maintaining schedules and project plans. The ideal candidate combines strong project management fundamentals with critical thinking, intellectual curiosity, customer relationship skills, and exceptional documentation discipline.\nThe Senior Project Manager serves as both project leader and trusted advisor, working closely with customers, engineering teams, and leadership to deliver successful project outcomes while building long-term stakeholder trust.\nWHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE\nSuccessful project managers at Native Network:\nBuild trusted relationships with Tribal partners and customers.\nProduce accurate documentation that requires minimal revision.\nAsk thoughtful questions before proposing solutions.\nLearn the technical, operational, funding, and customer context of their projects.\nTake ownership of project outcomes rather than simply tracking tasks.\nWork collaboratively with engineering, leadership, and customers to solve problems.\nImprove processes thoughtfully after first understanding the business.\n\nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES\nProject Leadership\n\nLead projects through their full lifecycle.\nDevelop and manage scope, schedule, budget, risks, and dependencies.\nProactively identify and resolve project challenges.\nManage change requests and stakeholder expectations.\n\nCustomer & Stakeholder Management\n\nServe as primary point of contact for assigned Tribal and customer accounts.\nBuild trusted relationships through proactive communication and follow-through.\nDevelop a deep understanding of customer goals and priorities.\nCommunication & Documentation\n\nFacilitate productive meetings with clear decisions and action items.\nProduce accurate, audit-ready documentation and status reporting.\nMaintain organized project records and version control.\nCreate professional reports, presentations, and customer deliverables.\nREQUIRED CAPABILITIES\n\n Build trust with customers and stakeholders.\nProduce accurate, professional project documentation.\nLearn unfamiliar technical, operational, and customer environments quickly.\nFacilitate productive meetings and drive accountability.\nIdentify risks and solve problems before they impact project outcomes.\nDESIRED QUALIFICATIONS\n\n 5+ years managing complex telecommunications, broadband, engineering, infrastructure, utility, public-sector, or related projects.\nExceptional written communication and documentation skills.\nExperience managing customer relationships and executive communications.\nStrong analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving abilities.\nDemonstrated ability to learn quickly and adapt to unfamiliar environments.\nHumility, curiosity, and a willingness to seek clarification when needed.\nPMP certification preferred but not required.\n\nWe value curiosity and sound judgment more than niche telecommunications expertise.
