Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather and define requirements. Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends related to COBOL and mainframe development.\nMain Responsibilities:\nDesign, develop, and maintain COBOL applications in compliance with business requirements.\nCollaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather and define requirements.\nPerform code reviews, debugging, and testing to ensure high-quality software delivery.\nUtilize Pacbase tools to enhance application performance and functionality.\nDocument technical specifications and processes for ongoing maintenance and future development.\nProvide support and troubleshooting for existing applications and systems.\nStay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends related to COBOL and mainframe development.\nMentor junior developers as needed and share best practices.\n Hard Skills:\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.\nMinimum of 8 years of professional experience in COBOL development.\nProficiency in Pacbase and experience with related tools and frameworks.\nExcellent communication skills in English.\nproficiency in French is mandatory.\nSoft Skills:\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.\nAbility to work independently as well as part of a team.\nWe will only consider CVs in English.\n Our workplace reflects the vibrant spirit of our locations, with initiatives such as a Green Transportation Budget, electric bikes and a flexible Hybrid Work Policy.
