This position is also responsible for timely repairs to equipment during processing; and, general warehouse repairs and maintenance. This position is scheduled Monday through Friday and may include some holidays.\nApplications are accepted by the date below, which may be updated if the hiring timeline is extended.10/07/2026\nResponsibilities\nMain Ingredients:\nPerform preventative and corrective maintenance on production equipment, including augers and vibrating scale equipment\nMaintain preventive maintenance program for all production equipment, to be in compliance with Food Safety guidelines and Good Manufacturing practices\nPerform preventive maintenance on warehouse equipment as needed\nRecommend spare parts to support production and warehouse equipment; maintain parts inventory to meet production needs\nInspect mechanical systems, equipment and components to identify and correct any hazards or defects\nParticipate in dismantling, relocating and re-assembly of equipment as necessary to accommodate business growth\nTest equipment and machinery to verify repairs and ensure safe and efficient operation\nRepair and maintain all conveyor belt systems\nPerform pneumatic and hydraulic systems installation and repairs\nMaintain filters and belts on all RTU’s and air compressors\nProvide training and guidance to machine operators as needed\nManage on-site maintenance vendors that work at the DC\nCarry out minor repairs in DC including changing light fixtures, changing bulbs, patching drywall, mounting racks on walls, changing out plumbing fixtures, etc.\nFabricate minor parts for production or warehouse, such as machine guards\nProvide timely repair service to production operations to keep equipment running\nCreate clear, accurate, complete and timely documentation of work orders \nMaintain a work environment that is clean and safe\nWork closely with vendors to ensure projects are completed efficiently and accurately, including repairs, machining, welding, fabrication, rebuilds, etc.\nAlthough this is a general outline of job responsibilities all employees are expected to be “hands on” and do whatever it takes to get the job done and make the company thrive.\nQualifications\nRecipe for Success:\nMinimum 5 years of experience as repairs/maintenance technician in an automated industrial production facility, conducting preventive maintenance and repairs. Experience with auger and vibrating scale systems preferred. \nMust have Forklift/ Powered Pallet Jack Operator certification which must be kept current for this position \nExperience in a food manufacturing environment with an understanding of GMP’s, HACCP and Food Safety preferred\nAbility to understand and work on DC voltage required\nAbility to diagnose and troubleshoot maintenance issues required\nPossesses basic carpentry, plumbing, electrical and fabrication knowledge\nAbility to provide installation and repair techniques for piping systems (water, air)\nPossess industrial safety, machine safety and safeguarding techniques\nKnowledge of PLC systems a plus\nAbility to work with minimal supervision and take the initiative to get assigned work done efficiently and effectively and in a timely manner\nAbility to prioritize tasks and communicate with management on progress\nStrong attention to details and getting the work done right the first time\nAbility to work with a diverse group and provide leadership in the maintenance area\nMust have valid CO driver’s license\nMust be a non-smoker; NGVC is a health food company with a non-smoking policy \nThis job description is not an employment contract.
