Coordinators work closely with coworkers across all departments, fostering positive working relationships.\n3 day workweek schedule, including potential for overtime and the occasional split shift\n\nRequires regular weekend work\n\nSchedule may vary based on programming and business needs\n\nThis position takes place at our Golden Gate campus in the Marin Headlands and cannot be done remotely.\nYour job will be:\nCustomer Service\nCreate a welcoming environment for diverse groups and guests.\n\nAct as a primary point of contact for guests during their visit.\n\nRespond to the needs of guests, troubleshoot problems and help in urgent situations.\n\nWelcome guests to campus, conduct orientation talks with groups of up to 120 people.\n\nProvide campus tours to prospective conference guests.\n\nLogistical Support\nSet-up, break down and cleaning of event spaces according to conference organizer requests.\n\nMaintain cleanliness of shared campus spaces by performing routine custodial duties, including but not limited to vacuuming, basic bathroom refreshing, and sanitizing dishes after use.\n\nManage inventory and maintain conference supplies in meeting rooms and storage spaces.\n\nAble to help guests with basic tech support, including projectors and internet.\n\nTeamwork\nDemonstrate ability to self-supervise, manage time and take initiative to identify, prioritize and complete projects, both independently and as a member of a team.\n\nParticipate in weekly team meetings to provide feedback on process improvements.\n\nAssist Operations and Facilities teams with daily duties and projects, perform other related duties as assigned.\n\nProvide occasional support for environmental science education programs, as assigned by the supervisor.\n\nOther duties as assigned.\n\nFood Service\nAct as a front of house host during meal service hours; Attend to guests, responding to dietary restriction/allergen questions and guest requests during meal services.\n\nSupport kitchen staff in set-up, service and clean-up for all conference dining hall meals.\n\nCompensation:\n$22.77/hr\n\nOption for a 403b retirement plan with employer match after 1000 hours of work\n\nPaid training days and sick leave\n\nWho You Are:\nWe are looking for candidates who have:\nSix months to one year experience in a customer service related field and/or training.\n\nStrong customer service and interpersonal skills.\n\nAbility to work independently and as part of a team with a positive attitude.\n\nFlexibility to work various hours throughout each week, including weekdays, weekends, early and late shifts.\n\nAble to regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.\n\nCPR, AED and First Aid certification required. If the applicant does not have this certification already, the applicant will attend certification training within the first three months.\n\nSuccessful completion of ServSafe Food Handlers course within the first 30 days of employment; course will be provided by NatureBridge if the applicant does not already possess a certification.\n\nPrioritize daily tasks through organization, time management, and communication skills while balancing guest requests.\n\nProficiency with or willingness to learn Google Suite.\n\nIf you are interested in the role and do not meet every requirement listed, please still apply!
