Our mission is to connect young people to the science and wonder of the natural world, igniting self-discovery, and inspiring stewardship of the planet.\nWhat You Will Do:\nAs theOperations Manager, you will be responsible for managing the operational integrity of NatureBridgeenvironmental science programs in Yosemite National Park by accurately andefficiently managing complex logistics for all groups attending programs, ensuring a welcomingand supportive atmosphere for guests while on site, and coordinating closely with other campusdepartments to ensure a seamless customerexperience\nThis position takes place at our campus in Yosemite National Park and cannot be performed remotely.\nYour primary job will be to:\nCreate and update the weekly Environmental Science staffing schedule through Salesforce CRM and ensure all logistical details are accurate and promptly communicated to staff.\nManage scheduling requests from all Educators, in conjunction with their supervisor’s approval.\n\nPartners with the Sales and Education Teams to meet program scheduling goals.\n\nTrain Educators on program logistics and schedule management.\n\nRoutes all paperwork to designated locations in a timely manner.\n\nHire, supervise and train all Administrative Educator positions\nIs in person on campus(es) at least twice per week\n\nPrepares weekly reports for participant lodgings, meals, transportation and recreation by working closely with clients, NatureBridge staff and the Yosemite concessionaire to ensure accuracy.\n\nEnsures smooth program implementation by refining, developing, communicating, and supporting logistics systems.\n\nUpdate and steward the Yosemite Operations and Program Logistics Manual and Administrative Educator Manuals.\n\nAddress risk management concerns with clients/vendors and coordinate necessary modifications with associated staff.\nWorks closely with Campus and National Director of Risk Management on a case by case basis and promotes implementation of Risk Management policies.\n\nPerforms duties of the Administrative Educator team members when needed, including overnight and weekend coverage.\n\nParticipate in monthly cross departmental meetings including Yosemite Management Team. Participate in monthly meetings with National and other campus Operations teams.\n\nCollaborate with National and other campus Operations teams annually to revise paperwork and operational systems.\n\nMaintain CRM systems and monitor program portals.\n\nAct as Rotating Manager On Call.\n\nOccasional weekend and night work.\n\nPerform all other duties as assigned by supervisor.\n\nCompensation:\n$52,000 annual salary\n\nMedical, dental and vision insurance\n\nOption for a 403b retirement plan with employer match after 1000 hours of work\n\nGenerous paid vacation and sick leave\n\nOther benefits include Employee Assistance Plan (EAP), Flexible Spending Account (FSA) and more\n\nWho You Are:\nWe are looking for candidates who have:\n2-4 years of relevant experience or a Bachelor’s Degree\n\nWilderness First Responder Certification\n\nRobust risk management experience and expertise\n\nExtremely detail-oriented, with excellent organizational, task, and time management skills\n\nExcellent communicator with a strong customer service orientation\n\nStrong problem-solving skills; able to make decisions independently while meeting the needs of multiple stakeholders\n\nDemonstrated office experience, managing and communicating information quickly and accurately\n\nProficiency with CRM systems and Google online tools\n\nStrong leadership and interpersonal skills\n\nFlexibility and enthusiastic attitude\n\nIf you are interested in the role and do not meet every requirement listed, please still apply!
