You’ll be working on service or change initiatives, ensuring their availability and maintaining, managing and deploying technology infrastructure on behalf of either the function or investment projects.\nYou’ll also be:\nSupporting the day-to-day operations and technical management of the Avaloq platform hosted on the NatWest Group ExaCC environment\nManaging and monitoring Avaloq operations and batch processes, including investigation and resolution of operational issues\nPerforming database investigations and operational database activities to support incident resolution, service stability and platform performance\nMonitoring the health, performance and availability of the Avaloq platform infrastructure and proactively addressing technical issues\nSupporting infrastructure deployments, maintenance activities and platform changes, ensuring they are implemented safely and with minimal business impact\nCreating and maintaining operational procedures, technical implementation plans and runbooks for Avaloq platform activities\nWorking closely with application, development, infrastructure and support teams to investigate incidents and ensure reliable end-to-end operation of the platform\nContributing to continuous improvement of monitoring, operational processes and technical controls to strengthen platform resilience and business continuity\nThe skills you'll need\nTo succeed in this role, you’ll need a broad understanding of how your particular area of expertise supports our customers, ranging from applications and services supported and developed to decisions taken, and risk based with the objective of producing high availability, low cost systems.\nYou’ll also bring strong Avaloq technical and operational knowledge and a good understanding of Avaloq architecture and infrastructure components, along with experience with Avaloq batch operations, monitoring and troubleshooting.
