Our mission is rooted in agility, scalability, and a commitment to exceeding expectations, ensuring impactful results for our clients and communities.\nPosition:\nSenior HR Generalist will conduct the daily functions of the Human Resources (HR) department for a nationwide small government contractor. The role will serve as the lead HR employee responsible for functions including, but not limited to: employment, compensation, benefits and leave, payroll, employee relations, compliance, and organizational development. Additionally, this role will partner with the HR team to develop and drive creative people and culture initiatives and activities. This is a hands-on role ideal for an HR professional who enjoys being both strategic and operational.\nDuties/Responsibilities:\nCreate and implement people and culture initiatives to drive employee morale, strengthen our culture, and be known as a top employer of choice internally and externally.\nProvide employee support through the employee lifecycle including onboarding, employee morale, talent development, and offboarding.\nDevelop, recommend, and implement policies and procedures, prepare and maintain employee handbook, and ensure compliance across state, federal, and industry requirements. \nPerform benefit administration to include managing our benefit relationships, coordinating with our benefits broker for selection and implementation and identifying new and innovative total rewards programs. \nConduct annual compensation analysis to make recommendations for annual reviews, new hires, and conduct internal audits. \nManage employment related issues including performance management, employee and leadership coaching, investigations, discipline, and terminations.\nPartner with the talent team to support succession & workforce planning to ensure the organization has the right talent pipeline in place, identifying critical roles, assessing readiness, and anticipating future staffing needs.\nBuild best practices, establish standard operating procedures, and measure success of people and culture initiatives through employee feedback and analytics while continuously seeking process improvement through the use of technology and AI. \nSupport internal employee communication initiatives.\nOwn and manage the HRIS platforms and other HR technology.\nRequired Skills & Qualifications:\nA minimum of 6 years related HR experience, at least 1 of these years in a strategic role.\nBachelor's degree required.\nSmall business experience required.\nThorough knowledge of HR principles and federal/local regulations.\nExperience in creating, implementing and administering people and culture programs.\nMust have demonstrated success in operational and strategic HR support.\nExceptional project and personnel management skills.\nExcellent ability to multi-task and prioritize in a busy, fast-growth environment .\nProficiency in MS Suite including Word, Excel and Power Point is essential.\nExhibit extraordinary discretion, flexibility, and willingness to work closely with our senior management team and maintain sensitive data and information.\nPreferred Skills & Qualifications\nGovernment contracting experience preferred.\nSHRM-CP or PHR certification preferred.\nOther Requirements:\nPosition is hybrid with 3 days in the San Diego or Arlington office.\nWhat We Offer\nNavaide is committed to fostering a supportive, inclusive, and forward-thinking workplace where our team members can thrive.
