You will evolve the robust Java/Spring Boot backend services that power our platform, while building the responsive frontend interfaces for our Admin and User portals.\nBuild Enterprise-Grade Workflows: Create powerful backend engines and supporting UIs for complex business domains, such as configuring travel policies, visualizing approval chains, and managing user roles/permissions.\nBuild Data-Driven Services: Architect and scale APIs and data services that manage high volumes of data, ensure transactional integrity, and power reporting features and seamless integrations.\nOwn Features End-to-End: Take technical ownership of a problem domain, facilitating the design, development, and launch of key microservices and features that have a direct impact on our users.\nCollaborate Across Teams: Work cross-functionally with various engineering, product, and design teams to deliver complex, cross-domain features in a collaborative environment.\nDrive the Vision: Partner with engineering and product leadership to identify, plan, and execute the long-term technical vision for your domain and be a subject matter expert.\nChampion Best Practices: Contribute to a culture of technical excellence by writing high-quality, well-tested code, mentoring other engineers, and advocating for best practices in testing, monitoring, and operational reliability.\n\nWhat We're Looking For\n\n2-4 years of experience in software development, with a strong focus on full-stack web applications in fast-paced SaaS environments.\nBackend Architecture: Deep, hands-on experience in server-side development using Java and Spring Boot. Skilled in data modeling, query optimization, and designing secure, scalable RESTful APIs and microservices.\nFrontend Engineering: Solid experience in modern frontend development using React, Angular, or Vue, along with proficiency in TypeScript, state management, and building seamless API-driven user interfaces.\nFull-Stack Integration & Architecture: Proven expertise bridging frontend user experiences with backend microservices, distributed systems, and cloud platforms like AWS.\nCollaborative Ownership: Demonstrates strong ownership and a collaborative mindset, with clear communication skills and a proven ability to ship production-quality code equipped with robust monitoring and documentation.\nAI-Enabled Workflow: Ability to effectively leverage AI development tools (such as GitHub Copilot, CodeGPT, Claude, and Cursor) to accelerate development and innovate on engineering workflows.\nBachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field—or equivalent hands-on experience.\n\nNavan uses AI-assisted Automated Employment Decision Tool (Metaview) to assist with evaluating resumes against job qualifications for this role.
