The Project Manager supports the vision, mission, and guiding principles of Navanta.\nResponsibilities\nEssential Functions\nReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions. \nWork closely with Solutions Project Technicians and Project Technical Specialists to plan and coordinate the success of various client-initiated and internal projects including, but not limited to, new client implementations and standardizations, existing client projects, internal service enhancements, and process definition and/or implementation. \nCommunicate project progress, decisions, and deviations with clients, vendors, technicians, and management. \nProvide training/coaching on how to plan projects and/or communicate properly with clients to Project Planning Technical Specialists and/or technical staff. \nHost and attend meetings as necessary to communicate with clients and staff. \nOversee project tasks and expectations to provide streamlined project execution in a professional manner. \nServe as a company liaison to clients during implementations and larger projects. \nBe able and willing to take escalations calls from clients who wish to speak with a manager -hearing their concerns, empathizing with the situation, and working towards an agreeable solution with the client. \nTrack project budgets and hours as required. \nMonitor real-time events and multi-task between various concurrent activities. \nInvolve senior management on more sensitive or complex problems. \nPerform related work as required.\nSupervisory Responsibility\nThis role is responsible for supervising and leading a dynamic team, including Project Coordinators and Project Technicians, ensuring smooth project execution and fostering a collaborative work environment.\nWork Environment\nThis job operates in a professional office environment (both internally/externally) and travels in an automobile (or possibly an airplane). This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, scanners, and copy machines. This role routinely operates a company motor vehicle.\nPhysical Demands\nThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to sit for long periods of time; stand; walk; use hands to type, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.\nPosition Type and Expected Hours of Work\nThis is a full-time position. Hours of work and days are variable, but typically Monday through Friday. Weekly backup coverage rotations are required. Project Managers are expected to be on call at any time to assist with the successful completion of project tasks. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.\nUse of a personal mobile phone is required for work-related communication.\nTravel\nPeriodic travel is expected for this position.\nQualifications\nRequired Education and Experience\nAdvanced capabilities to provide verbal and written communications with both internal and external stakeholders. \nAdvanced ability to translate project concepts into easy-to-understand language. \nAt least one year of project or employee management work experience. \nBachelor’s degree in Project Management or business-related field, or equivalent experience. \nPreferred Education and Experience\nTwo or more years of project or employee management work experience. \nOne or more relevant project management certifications (e.g., Project+, CAPM, and PMP). \nIntermediate experience implementing clients under the Bankers Private Cloud model. \nMaster’s (or higher) degree in Project Management or business-related field. \nOther Duties\nPlease note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties, or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
