Company and customer data stays inside our cloud boundary. Design for that from day one, with security and IT.\n\n- Take over systems built by external partners. Harden them, deploy them properly, and make them runnable by a small team.\n\n- Keep the stack small - every service you add is one you run.\n\nWhat you'll bring : \n\n- 5+ years of backend engineering with real production ownership.\n\n- You've built the deploy, observability and secrets path yourself, not just inherited one.\n\n- Strong in Python and/or TypeScript (Node.js, Next.js), Fluent SQL / NoSQL.\n\n- Hands-on with a major cloud provider (AWS, GCP or Azure), Identity and Access Management (IAM), networking, containers, Terraform or equivalent.\n\n- You've integrated with systems you didn't control and made them reliable anyway.\n\n- You've taken over a codebase someone else wrote and made it production-grade.\n\n- Strong security instincts : least privilege, audit trails, handling sensitive data.\n\nBonus points for : \n\n- Enterprise experience : You've navigated security reviews, IT approvals, identity/SSO and access controls, and know how to get things deployed inside a large organisation.\n\n- Supported LLM workloads in production : model gateways, vector stores, eval pipelines.\n\n- Working with AWS Bedrock, or inside a VPC-constrained enterprise environment.\n\n- Knowledge of compliance frameworks : SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR.\n\n- Culture Agility : Comfort working in a fast-paced, candid environment that values innovation, healthy debate, and follow-through.\n\n- Fuel performance and outcomes : Leverage your job competencies and champion NAVEX's core values.\n\nOur side of the deal : \n\nWe'll be clear, we'll move fast, and we'll invest in your success.
