At Nayax, you’ll be part of a diverse and innovative community where your work makes a real impact and helps shape the future of payments.\nWe're after elite talent - a Senior Hardware Product Engineer who can own our hardware roadmap end-to-end and make every market we ship to better for it.\nIn this role, you'll own the hardware product roadmap across our XLynk and Manufacturing Partner product lines and drive our third-party hardware integrations - no hand-holding, no hedging, just real ownership.\nThe Senior Hardware Product Engineer reports directly to the Chief Technology Officer, Energy, with direct visibility into the executive team.\nThis role is based in Schenectady, NY (preferred) - hands-on, where the decisions get made.\nThis role requires working onsite from our Schenectady, NY office five days per week.\nYour key responsibilities will include:\nOwn and drive the product roadmap for the XLynk and Manufacturing Partner hardware lines - set the direction, don't just follow it\nOwn our 3rd-party hardware profile outright - the catalog of approved vendors, technical specs, and integration/certification status across every hardware partner we work with, kept sharp and current\nDefine and manage global hardware requirements - you decide what hardware works, and can be sold, in which markets, and defend that call\nPartner cross-functionally with engineering, sales, and compliance to align hardware strategy with market and customer needs - and push back when it doesn't\nOwn hardware compliance and certification requirements across every territory we operate in - no market gets overlooked, no regulation gets missed as things shift\nOwn integration testing across our hardware and third-party partners - you validate it works in the real world before it ever reaches a customer, not after\nRequirements\nWhat Makes You a Great Fit\nReal industry experience in EV charging, IoT hardware, or unattended-payment hardware - not adjacent, actual\nA track record of owning a hardware product roadmap end-to-end and having the scars to prove it\nGenuine comfort working across global markets, including hardware compliance/certification considerations that vary by region\nNice-to-Have Skills\nDirect experience with third-party OEM or vendor hardware integration\nBackground specifically in EV charging or energy hardware\nFamiliarity with regional hardware certification regimes (e.g. FCC, CE, RCM)\nCompensation and Benefits\nThe base salary range for this position is $90,000-$120,000 per year\nEligibility for an annual performance bonus and additional benefits.\nFinal compensation will be determined based on experience and qualifications.\nWhy Join Nayax\nTake ownership of hardware products that power real-world EV charging and payment solutions used across global markets.\nWork directly with executive leadership and have a visible impact on product strategy, market expansion, and customer success.\nLead hardware decisions end-to-end, from roadmap definition and compliance strategy to integration and deployment.\nCollaborate with industry experts across engineering, product, sales, and operations in a fast-growing technology environment.\nJoin a global fintech and commerce technology leader where innovation, accountability, and execution drive meaningful results.\nLearn More about Nayax\nFounded in 2005, Nayax is a global fintech leader providing end-to-end payment, consumer engagement, and business management solutions.
