We’re looking for a skilled Groundskeeper II to lead by example and keep our landscapes thriving year-round.Salary:\nPay range $ 19.01 - $20.53 per hour\nJob Status:\nFull time***\nJob Description:\nWhat We're Looking For:\nStrong understanding of landscaping and horticultural practices\n\nFamiliarity with landscape planning and irrigation systems\n\nAbility to inspect outdoor areas for safety and report hazards\n\nSkilled in using and maintaining landscaping tools and small machinery\n\nReliable and proactive in maintaining clean, safe, and attractive grounds\n\nExperience with seasonal tasks like mulching, seeding, and re-sodding\n\nConfidence operating trucks, trailers, and tractors safely\n\nBasic knowledge of painting and minor grounds-related repairs\n\nAbility to work independently and as part of a collaborative team\n\nCommitment to providing excellent service to staff and the public\n\nWhat You'll Be Doing:\nPerform a range of manual groundskeeping tasks across assigned areas\n\nOperate lawnmowers, blowers, edgers, and other landscaping equipment\n\nMow, edge, aerate, seed, and fertilize lawns and green spaces\n\nPrune shrubs, weed flower beds, mulch, and prepare soil for planting\n\nClean and maintain paths, walkways, and stairways\n\nIdentify and address basic safety issues in outdoor areas\n\nAssist in the installation and repair of irrigation systems\n\nTrap rodents and manage pests as needed\n\nMaintain accurate records of work using digital tools\n\nSupport and mentor less experienced groundskeeping staff\n\nQualifications:\nMinimum of 3 years’ experience required, with an emphasis in turf care preferred\n\nExperience or training that ensures the ability to read and write at a level necessary for successful job performance\n\nValid California driver's license\n\nEvidence of Christian commitment and active church involvement.
