The Arena Operations Technician is responsible for carrying out processes for back-of-house operations to ensure Intuit Dome and Kia Forum always operate optimally. As an Arena Ops Tech, you will support all events within the Intuit Dome and the Kia Forum property and grounds while ensuring the venues are always event ready. Tasks include event set-up, tear down, changeovers, and daily operational work related to concerts, sporting, meetings, and other events. Technicians may also assist with assembly of furniture, pickups and deliveries, and movement of various equipment throughout the facilities. The target start date is Tuesday, November 10, 2026.\nThis is a part-time role based in Inglewood, CA. The scope of this position encompasses a 24-hour, 7 day a week operation with the transition of numerous daily events. Due to the nature of this industry, the candidate must be available to work a flexible schedule including weeknights, weekends, and holidays to cover high profile concerts and NBA games.\nWhat You Will Do:\nCarry out the conversion and changeover of the buildings from event to event including but not limited to NBA, college basketball, concert productions, corporate events, and more.\nCarry out the operation of all event setup and teardown equipment including stages and platforms, basketball court flooring, basketball goals, scorers’ tables, retractable seating, etc. in compliance with Cal. OSHA, Life & Safety, and ADA regulations. This may include the installation and removal of various large heavy components utilized for games, concerts and other types of events.\nActively care for all venue equipment and property by storing equipment properly, cleaning and repairing broken or damaged items, and alerting management of any mistreatment of property.\nEnsure the internal/external customer is satisfied upon the conversion of items and all items in the production notes have been addressed to meet safety regulations.\nResponsible for the physical setup of all areas around the venues including flooring, chairs, tables, walls, staging, furnishings, and equipment.\nProperly utilize, organize and store operations supplies/equipment and perform effective inventory storage practices to guarantee the appropriate supplies and equipment required to perform their duties efficiently.\nSupport Halo Sports & Entertainment’s robust sustainability program.\nMaintain overall cleanliness and organization of the venues.\nMay be required to operate industrial vehicles such as pallet jack, forklifts, and other lifting equipment.\nOther duties as assigned.\nYour Background, Skills, and Experience:\nMinimum of one (1) year experience in the field of facility management preferably in a complex and sophisticated deadline driven environment.\nMust be at least 18 years of age.\nUnderstand verbal and written instructions in English. Employee will frequently communicate via radio and in-person with others and exchange accurate information.\nStrong interpersonal skills, with an ability to interact effectively and professionally, diplomatically, and maturely with internal and external clients and peers at all levels within an organization and throughout the community.\nUnderstands principles of project coordination, project management, and exhibits attention to detail to meet tight deadlines and work effectively in a high-pressure environment.\nKnowledge of and a passion for professional basketball and live entertainment.\nHighly responsive to emergencies in a fast paced, time sensitive environment.\nAbility to receive direction and constructive feedback within a multi-ethnic/multi-cultural environment.\nWillingness/ability to perform physical labor while remaining mobile, engaged, and energetic throughout sustained periods of time. This position requires frequent bending and squatting, ability to move and lift up to 75 pounds, standing for long periods of time, exposure to multiple external elements, and extensive walking through the building.\nAbility to work nights, weekends and holidays as business requires.\nOHSA 10 Certification highly preferred.\nPrevious experience and certification operating heavy machinery such as forklift, scissor lift and golf carts preferred.\nEssential Functions of the Job (Physical Requirements & Working Conditions)\nAbility to lift, carry, push, or pull equipment or materials weighing up to 75 pounds.\nAbility to stand, sit, walk, or remain in a stationary position for extended periods during scheduled shifts.\nAbility to bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, and reach overhead and horizontally as needed to perform job duties.\nAbility to ascend and descend stairs and work safely at various heights, including top of stairways, when required.\nAbility to work in confined or enclosed spaces, including elevators, when required.\nAbility to move throughout the venue quickly and safely during events.\nAbility to communicate effectively with guests, coworkers, and supervisors in person and through radio or other communication devices.\nAbility to work in both indoor and outdoor environments.
