The Maintenance Technician will support the designated leadership with the daily operations of all building systems. This includes hard surface maintenance and repair, basic carpentry, painting, and metal work.\nThis is a full-time role based in Inglewood, CA and is eligible for our competitive benefit offering including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan with company contribution, Well-Being Allowance, and more. The scope of this position encompasses a 24-hour, 7 day a week operation with the transition of numerous daily events. Due to the nature of this industry, the candidate must be available to work a flexible and rotating schedule including weeknights, weekends, and holidays to cover high profile concerts and NBA games. \nWhat You Will Do:\nChange air filters in spaces where no fans or machinery are in operation, which has been shut down, locked out and tagged by an Engineer.\nRespond to customer requests and submit/close work orders as necessary.\nGeneral cleaning of engineering spaces.\nCleaning, patching, and painting at various locations as directed by the Director of Engineering.\nPerform general laborer work as assigned by Director of Engineering or Vice President of Operations, such as loading, unloading, and moving materials for the Engineering Department.\nFurniture moving, modular systems breakdown and set-up.\nPreventive maintenance in all restrooms.\nAssist Engineers as needed.\nOther duties as assigned by the Director of Engineering.\n\nYour Background, Skills, and Experience:\nTwo or more years’ experience in the field of facility management, preferably in a complex and sophisticated deadline driven environment.\nPrior experience working in new venue preferred.\nExcellent interpersonal skills, with an ability to interact effectively and professionally, diplomatically, and maturely with internal and external clients and peers at all levels within an organization and throughout the community, both oral and written.\nHighly organized with excellent attention to detail to meet tight deadlines and work effectively in a high-pressure environment.\nKnowledge of and a passion for professional basketball and live entertainment.\nHighly responsive to emergencies in a fast paced, time sensitive environment with demonstrated confidence, decision-making, and multi-tasking abilities.\nEssential Functions of the Job (Physical Requirements & Working Conditions)\nAbility to lift, carry, push, or pull equipment or materials weighing up to 50 pounds.\nAbility to bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, and reach overhead and horizontally as needed to perform job duties.\nAbility to ascend and descend stairs and work safely at various heights, including top of stairways, when required.\nAbility to work in confined or enclosed spaces, including elevators, when required.\nAbility to communicate effectively with guests, coworkers, and supervisors in person and through radio or other communication devices.\nAbility to work in both indoor and outdoor environments.
