The scope of this position encompasses a 24 hour, 7 day a week operation with the transition of numerous daily events. Due to the nature of this industry, the candidate must be available to work a flexible schedule including weeknights, weekends, and holidays to cover high profile concerts and NBA games.\nWhat You Will Do\nDrives revenue to maximize profitability through strong merchandising, operations, fan engagement-Additionally, manage payroll budgets, control expenses, and analyze store reports.\nOversee the Retail Flagship, In-Arena retail locations, and other special events retail operations.\nRecruit, hire, onboard, schedule, train, and coach part-time teammates to drive retail performance and best in class fan engagement.\nManage schedule for teammates centered around games days, non-game days concerts/events, and other critical events, ensuring enough PT Staff availability.\nReview payroll and ensure it aligns to budget/ forecast, accurately monitor timesheets for all roles that clock in and out for all scheduled shifts, breaks and meals.\nAbility to leverage reporting and translate performance into actionable merchandise strategies in store.\nExecute visual merchandising and ensure appropriate replenishment of merchandise on the selling floor.\nEnsure compliance and adherence to loss prevention and safety policies and procedures, standards and practices.\nFoster an environment of inclusivity with framework built on accountability and career development.\nYour Background, Skills and Qualifications\nHigh School Diploma or Equivalent\n3 years or more Retail Store Manager experience or 5 years of related management/ customer focused experience.\nMust have 100% availability for Clippers home games and other special events.\nSports arena/ event venue retail operations experience preferred.\nExcellent organizational skills and strong problem solving and analytical skills.\nStrong verbal/ written communication skills.\nBackground in Retail Operations including sales, customer service, merchandising, inventory control, store budget preparation, and loss prevention.\nAbility to learn, contribute and thrive in a fast-growing, dynamic environment.\nDemonstrated ability to communicate and positively interact in a diverse multi-cultural environment.\nEssential Functions of the Job (Physical Requirements & Working Conditions)\nAbility to lift, carry, push, or pull equipment or materials weighing up to 50 pounds.\nAbility to bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, and reach overhead and horizontally as needed to perform job duties.\nAbility to ascend and descend stairs and work safely at various heights, including top of stairways, when required.\nAbility to move throughout the venue quickly and safely during events.\nAbility to communicate effectively with guests, coworkers, and supervisors in person and through radio or other communication devices.\nAbility to work in environments with elevated noise levels, crowds, and vibration typical of live sporting events and entertainment venues.\nAbility to work in crowded environments with frequent interaction with guests and team members.\nAbility to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and extended shifts based on business needs.\n\nOur Approach to Technology & Innovation\nAt Halo Sports and Entertainment, curiosity and innovation go hand in hand.
