This is an exciting opportunity to be a key contributor to our mission while growing your career in a supportive and innovative environment.\nWhere You Will Work This role is available in our Columbus, OH orSeattle, WA office.\nIn your new role you will:\nAs a key member of our Finance team, you'll partner with Project Managers across all NBBJ offices to drive project success through the following responsibilities:\nBe a true partner - work closely with project managers, clients and sub-consultants to prepare monthly invoices based on contract requirements\nOwn your contracts - Review and interpret contract terms to accurately establish budgets and billing terms within our financial system\nKeep things accurate - validate and process high volume of consultant invoices and ensure project costs are recorded correctly\nStay organized - maintain finance project files\nBe a team player - review and audit teammates' work and jump in where needed\nDrive continuous improvement - collaborate with your team to identify and implement process improvements\nWear multiple hats - assist with timesheet collection and participate in special projects as they come up\nWhat you will need to succeed:\nWe are looking for a motivated and experienced professional who takes pride in their work and enjoys being part of a fast-paced collaborative team. The ideal candidate will have:\nBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration\nA minimum of 3 years of project cost accounting experience\nStrong understanding of accounts payable and receivable functions\nSolid grasp of project financial performance, including revenue and profitability\nStrong MS Excel skills with proficiency in Word, Outlook andAdobe; experience with Deltek Vision/Vantagepoint is a plus\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to respond to clients and team members in a professional and timely manner\nSelf-motivated with a high level of initiative and accountability\nExceptional attention to detail, accuracy and follow through\nProven ability to manage multiple priorities and consistently meet deadlines\nComfortable working both independently and in a collaborative environment\nWhy NBBJ?\nJoining NBBJ means becoming part of a globally recognized design firm where your contributions truly matter.
