Join us to make an impact today!\nThe role at a glance:\nNBBJ Seattle is seeking a Senior Medical Planner in the design and planning of complex healthcare projects including large scale hospitals and ambulatory care centers. This is an opportunity to join a fully integrated design studio where a diverse group of technical architects, interior designers, medical planners and clinical consultants collaborate as a team from concept design through construction.\nIn your new role you will:\nHelp build and lead the medical planning practice for all healthcare projects within the studio\nDesign and planning of hospitals and clinics\nWork with clients as a trusted partner to identify objectives and formulate options\nAbility to effectively participate in Clinical User Group meetings and client presentations\nProven ability to collaborate with Architects, Interior Designers, and Project Managers from Concept Design through Construction\nHelp build and lead the medical planning practice for all healthcare projects within the studio\nWhat you will need to succeed:\n15+ years Medical Planning experience w/ demonstrated Leadership - complex healthcare projects of any scale\nDemonstrated excellence in design and innovation\nExceptional client leadership and communication\nExperience in leading Healthcare projects from programming/concept design through construction administration\nExperience working in a collaborative environment with design teams, consultants, clients\nSkilled in leadership and management of user group engagements and development of deliverables\nKnowledge of current healthcare planning and programming concepts including patient safety and evidence-based design principles\nUnderstanding of programmatically rich healthcare projects from concept design and programming through construction administration\nExperience participating in client user group meetings and collaborating with all related deliverables\nAdvanced knowledge with issues surrounding innovative healthcare strategic planning, master planning, programming, and design\nFamiliarity with healthcare design literature and evidence-based design research\nAbility to work collaboratively with in-house team of medical planners and coordinate with external consultants\nAbility and interest to manage, design, document and execute small projects independently\nExceptional listening, written, verbal and graphic communication skills required\nProficient in Revit with 3D modeling skills preferred\nKnowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Sketchup, Rhino or 3DS Max desired\nProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)\nThe annual base pay range for this role is anticipated to be between $120,000 and $140,000.
