Join us to make an impact today!\nThe role at a glance:\nNBBJ is seeking a Senior Healthcare Project Manager who can work independently and collaboratively with a team to manage large, complex, multi-phased OSHPD HCAI Healthcare projects and lead work efforts of others, oversee the production of project deliverables, and interpret client needs. The successful candidate will have excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills, and the motivation to engage with the array of NBBJ’s resources in achieving high-performance, sustainable outcomes.\nIn your new role you will:\nManage team complexity - plans, organizes, and supervises the work of a design staff of up to 60 team members \nResponsible for accuracy and applicability of documents for entire project(s) \nBuild and maintain day-to-day working relationship with client(s) and consultants \nLead decision making process with fiscal accountability and responsibility \nDevelop and execute a management work plan for the overall project(s) \nAssist with proposal preparation and participate in client presentations/interviews \nResponsible for overview and guidance in all correspondence, reports, documentation, and general administration for the overall project(s) \nResponsible for execution of project within the boundaries of the design intent \nApply sound and diversified knowledge of architectural principals for all aspects of the project(s) \nMake independent decisions on architectural problems and methods \nSolve problems creatively with consultants \nNegotiate and write fee proposals and support contract development \nAssist with business development and collaborate with other studios\nDevelop and leverage existing client relationships to obtain new commissions \nAssist Practice Leaders in developing market or client campaigns and participate in interviews\nWhat you will need to succeed:\n20+ years of professional experience in Architecture \nAt least 10 years of experience as a Project Manager \nExperience with complex multi-phase projects, willingness to work in Healthcare sectors.\nArchitecture degree required; Bachelor or Master’s in Architecture\nArchitectural licensure in California is required \nMust have experience from design through construction \nKnowledge about LEAN practiceand/or integrated design and delivery adept in change management \nMust have a proven track record as a Project Manager with complex projects involving work that ranges from Pre-design through Construction Administration, including contract negotiation, work plan development and the ability to work with a variety of project delivery methodologies \nExcellent leadership, verbal and communication skills, and effective client relationship skills and talent for leading and working with diverse teams of designers \nKnowledge of Revit and BIM delivery processes and able to guide implementation\nWorking expertise in design review and planning software such as Bluebeam Revu, Excel, MS Project and PowerPoint \nAbility to lead and manage multiple projects with competing deadlines \nAbility to work in a collaborative, design focused open environment \nAbility to travel as the project(s) requires \nThe annual base pay range for this role is anticipated to be between $140,000 and $160,000.
