In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation, maintenance and repair of building envelopes, systems, equipment, grounds and infrastructure. You will troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, conduct preventative maintenance, respond to service calls, escort vendors on site, and collaborate with contractors to ensure the facility operates efficiently, remains safe and is compliant with all regulations.\nWhat You'll Do:\nMaintain, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems, including critical infrastructure, to ensure continuous, efficient, and safe operations\nMonitor building automation systems (BAS) to optimize energy use, systems performance, and maintain comfortable environments for employees and guests\nAddress and resolve building system failures in a timely manner to minimize disruptions\nRespond to service requests and emergencies during and after business hours\nConduct site inspections and meter readings as required\nComplete preventative, corrective and reactive maintenance work orders assigned through the CMMS and mobile platform\nMaintain accurate records of maintenance activity, equipment performance, repair history, and costs in the CMMS\nWork closely with the Asset Management team to ensure assets are tagged and data is accurate in the Master Asset List\nParticipate in the development and implementation of standard operating procedures (SOP) and key performance indicators (KPI’s) with Facility Operations and the Asset Management team\nOversee and support vendor and 3rd party contracted services.\nSchedule and coordinate service calls with internal teams and external vendors\nPartner with NBCU departments to ensure compliance and safety tasks are addressed promptly \nSupport emergency preparedness initiatives and attend drills and exercises related to fire, disaster response, and business continuity\nAdhere to OSHA, ADA and other regulatory requirements\nSupport Facility Operations and support teams with event set-ups\nInterior & exterior painting and general carpentry tasks as needed\nAttend bid walks and assist with project oversite when required \nOther duties as assigned\n Let’s Talk About You:\nCool Under Pressure - You handle stressful situations with ease and professionalism while juggling multiple stakeholders and competing priorities\nCommunicates with ease - You have a way with words; written and verbal\nTech-savvy - You are an MS Office whiz and can take on new software with ease\nWhat You Have:\nHigh school diploma or equivalent required;\n3+ years of experience in building engineering, facilities management or a related field or equivalent\nUnderstanding of Class A commercial building operations\nDemonstrated proficiency with HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and building automation systems (BAS)\nKnowledge of applicable building codes, safety standards, regulatory requirements, and energy efficiency practices.\nValid state Class C Driver’s License\nWhat Would Make You Stand Out:\nAssociates degree or technical certification in building systems\nStrong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills\nRelevant trade license or certifications (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, low voltage)\nEPA Universal Certification for refrigerants\nUnderstanding of Class A high rise operations and REG 4\nAdditional Requirements:\n Required On-Site: This position is required to be performed full-time from an NBCUniversal-designated worksite. \nAbility to work flexible hours and travel as needed\nThis position is eligible for company sponsored benefits, including medical, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), paid leave, tuition reimbursement, and a variety of other discounts and perks.
