The International remit currently includes 20 countries and 68 payrolls.\nThis role is the key payroll contact for the processes, legislation and compliance for the EMEA entities and responsible for relationship building, providing support to the wider international team as well as central reporting and ad hoc implementation if required\nKey Responsibilities\nManage, review & reconcile monthly payrolls all countries across the EMEA region\nLiaise with HR Operations to ensure data is accurate, timely & complete\nCollate data and populate input documentation before submitting it to our payroll partner (ADP)\nEnsure that NBCU is compliant with employment law and tax legislation in the region\nResponsible for safeguarding payroll procedures and for ensuring that internal controls are always adhered to\nSupport the HR community with payroll related queries\nEstablish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, both internal and external\nSupport the payroll funding process, third party payment, GL distribution process and statutory filings\n Essential Requirements:\nProven payroll experience within a complex organisational environment\nStrong written and verbal communication skills\nStrong stakeholder and relationship management skills\nOutstanding knowledge of ADP Streamline/Celergo\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills\nStrong business acumen and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, Project and Visio\nPrevious exposure to international payrolls\nAbility to work to tight deadlines\nAbility to operate effectively across diverse cultural and business environments\nDesired Characteristics:\nFrench language proficiency would be an advantage but not essential\nFrance payroll Knowledge beneficial but not essential\nRelevant experience in a multi country role; media industry preferred but not essential\nPrevious exposure to Expatriate payroll\nKnowledge of Sarbanes Oxley legislation would be beneficial\nCIPP qualified not essential\n As part of our selection process, external candidates may be required to attend an in-person interview with an NBCUniversal employee at one of our locations prior to a hiring decision.
