It further received a ‘Good’ rating by the Central Bank of Iraq.\nToday, NBI has more than 51 branches in all major cities in Iraq, and a branch in KSA.\n Linux Systems Administrator\nThe Linux Systems Administrator is responsible for administering and supporting the Bank’s Linux systems, servers, virtual environments, backup systems, and related infrastructure. The role coordinates with relevant departments to resolve technical issues, maintain system availability, and support the stable and secure operation of the Bank’s IT environment.\nKey Responsibilities\nCreate, configure, administer, and maintain the Bank’s core servers and server environments located in Iraq and other operating locations.\nProvide timely technical support for Linux systems, servers, infrastructure equipment, and related technologies to maintain service availability and operational efficiency.\nDiagnose and resolve faults affecting hardware, operating systems, servers, and related infrastructure.\nCoordinate and follow up on the repair of defective equipment and systems.\nPrepare, install, configure, and test new servers, equipment, and operating systems.\nMonitor the distribution and storage of data across the Bank’s storage systems.\nAdminister and monitor backup operations to ensure that data, system records, and configurations are properly protected.\nMaintain and update Linux operating systems, virtualization platforms, backup systems, and related infrastructure applications.\nCoordinate with relevant departments to investigate and resolve Linux-related system and hardware issues.\nApply system updates, patches, configurations, and security controls in accordance with approved procedures.\nMonitor system performance, capacity, availability, and resource utilization, and address identified issues.\nMaintain accurate technical documentation covering system configurations, installations, changes, and troubleshooting activities.\nPrepare and submit periodic operational reports to the direct manager.\nFollow the Bank’s information-security requirements, internal procedures, and applicable regulatory instructions.\nPerform any other relevant duties assigned by the direct manager.\n Academic Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or an equivalent discipline relevant to the position.\nExperience Requirements\nBetween one and three years of relevant experience in Linux system administration, virtualization, IT infrastructure, or a related field.\nCandidates without direct experience in the same field may be considered if they hold a recognized certification in Linux or
