Learn more at nrdc.org\nPOSITION SUMMARY\nThe Administrative Coordinator will provide administrative and operations support for the Green Finance & Economic Development department whose mission is to: accelerate the shift to a sustainable, resilient, and equitable financial and economic system, and mobilize public resources and private capital for climate investment that reduces emissions and enhances livelihoods and lives.\nThis position would be hybrid remote in either the New York office (preferred) or DC\nThe position you are applying for is part of the bargaining unit represented by The Washington Baltimore News Guild (WBNG / The Newsguild-CWA Local 32035).\nResponsibilities\nTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. This includes, but is not limited to:Provide budgeting and accounting support, including processing invoices, maintaining contracts, preparing reports, and tracking spend. \nResponsible for contract submission and facilitation of institutional processes related to contract approval and vendor set-up. \nManage electronic filing systems and databases related to contracts, invoices and other team files for the assigned team. \n\nProvide administrative and logistical support to assigned team members, per NRDC’s administrative guidelines. This may include, but is not limited to:Schedule calendar appointments and meetings. \nDraft, edit, format, or proofread materials, correspondence or reports. \nCreate and submit expense reports on behalf of assigned team members and book travel and plan associated logistics. \nSchedule, organize, prepare for, and follow-up on assigned meetings, including planning logistics, preparing materials, taking notes, and sending out action items. \nAssist with event planning and production, which may require working with external parties, event scheduling, arranging catering, printing, materials preparation, and liaising with different stakeholders as needed. \n\nProvide support to ensure effective communication, collaboration, and information-sharing within the department and with external institutional partners. \nSupport execution of special projects identified by the Operations Manager. \nThe above list of duties is not comprehensive but generally demonstrates the types of matters under this position’s responsibility.
