Until then, the business will continue to operate as part of NCC.\nAbout the Role\nWe are looking for a proactive and technically skilled Project Lead to manage the planning, construction, and commissioning of new asphalt production plants and other major investment projects across the Nordic region. In this strategic role, you will oversee the full project lifecycle, from feasibility studies and design through to commissioning and handover, ensuring that each project is delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of safety, quality, and operational performance.\nYou will be involved from an early stage in relevant projects, supporting the business with business cases, feasibility studies, and project planning activities. Your role will be key in mitigating risks, ensuring alignment between stakeholders, and securing high-quality project delivery.\nKey Responsibilities\nLead major investment projects related to new asphalt plants, plant relocations, and significant upgrades\nDevelop business cases, feasibility studies, and investment proposals\nManage project budgets, schedules, risks, and reporting\nCoordinate internal stakeholders, consultants, contractors, and suppliers throughout all project phases\nEnsure compliance with environmental, permitting, health, and safety requirements\nDrive technical solutions that support operational efficiency, reliability, and sustainability\nOversee commissioning and handover to operations\nAct as the primary point of contact for authorities, local communities, and other external stakeholders\n Your Background\nUniversity degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field\nProven experience managing large-scale industrial, infrastructure, manufacturing, or plant construction projects\nStrong project management skills, including planning, budgeting, risk management, and stakeholder management\nExperience working with contractors, suppliers, and multidisciplinary project teams\nKnowledge of industrial production processes and plant technologies is considered an advantage\nFamiliarity with environmental permitting processes and regulatory requirements\nExcellent communication skills in English; knowledge of a Nordic language is an advantage\nWho You Are\nYou are a structured and results-oriented project manager who enjoys turning complex plans into successful outcomes.
