All employees must reside in NC**\nResponsibilities:\nDevelop and maintain strong relationships with retailers to achieve and exceed territory sales goals.\nConduct regular retailer visits to analyze sales performance, review game inventory, and provide product training for revolving staff, and give promotional updates.\nManage instant ticket inventory, facilitate activations, and ensure optimal product mix to maximize sales and minimize out-of-stocks while addressing shipping errors and ticket order issues. \nUtilize Sales Wizard daily to document retailer visits, service activities, inventory levels, and sales notes.\nMonitor vending machine performance (TVMs and SCIQ systems), ensuring planogram compliance and product availability of various price points and play styles.\nSupport retailers with contract renewals, terminations, ownership changes, and compliance documentation.\nOrganize and execute in-store promotions and player education events to drive awareness and engagement.\nRecruit and qualify new retailers by identifying high-potential locations and assisting with application completion.\nRequirements:\nBachelor’s degree and/or 2 years’ experience in route sales. (Preferred)\nStrong sales and customer relationship skills with the ability to build rapport and drive performance.\nKnowledge of lottery products, retailer operations, and sales preferred best practices.\nProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and iPad-based applications such as Sales Wizard.\nAbility to plan, organize, and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.\nExcellent communication and problem-solving skills with the ability to handle sensitive or escalated retailer issues.\nAbility to maintain security alertness, follow office procedure/protocols and handle confidential information. \nCapable of working independently while maintaining strong accountability and attention to detail.\nAbility to meet sales goals and maximize return. \nNotary Public\nHiring Rate: $51,078 + incentive (this position will be filled at or near the posted salary)\nClose Date: posted until filled\nAbout the North Carolina Education Lottery\nWe raise money for a great cause!
