Overview

This position will support the research and evaluation activities related to multiple substance misuse prevention-focused projects conducted by an Extension faculty in Salt Lake County.

This position is part-time and is telework eligible within the state of Utah. Telework outside of the state of Utah is subject to review and approval by the University prior to a job offer being extended.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the project director on developing evaluation methods across several prevention-related projects
  • Collaborate on preparing grant proposals and manuscripts
  • Create or adapt data collection tools and protocols for different projects
  • Assist with the preparation of IRB applications
  • Conduct data analyses
  • Develop data tracking and monitoring tools and provide trainings to the project team on how to use them
  • Create summary reports for funders and partners

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Graduate degree with at least 4 years of program evaluation or research experience.
  • Experience designing and implementing project evaluation activities or research projects.
  • Experience conducting data analyses for prevention-focused intervention evaluations.
  • Experience reporting on qualitative and quantitative data, as well as mixed methods approaches.
