Our dedicated 20000 employees optimize the branch improve operational efficiency and maximize self-service availability for financial institutions and retailers across the globe.\nTitle: Senior Network Support Specialist (Senior Network & Security Engineer)\nLocation: Dubai UAE \nPosition Summary \nThe Senior Network and Security Implementation Engineer is responsible for implementation and maintaining secure and scalable network infrastructures. This role combines deep technical expertise in networking and cybersecurity with leadership and project management skills to ensure robust high-performance and secure enterprise systems.\n\nKey Areas of Responsibility\nThe Senior Network and Security Engineer will be responsible for:\n\nNetwork Design & Implementation\nDesign and deploy functional networks (LAN WLAN WAN) based on business requirements.\nConfigure and install network devices and services in the field (e.g. routers switches firewalls load balancers Proxies VPNs).\nImplement Layer 2 and Layer 3 protocols (OSPF BGP MPLS).\nOversee network infrastructure services such as DNS DHCP and IP address management.\nSecurity Engineering\nConfigure and manage Next Generation firewalls VPNs (IPSec SSL) and intrusion detection/prevention and Network Admission Control (NAC) systems.\nImplement network segmentation and access control policies.\nMonitor and respond to security incidents and vulnerabilities.\nEnsure compliance with industry security standards and frameworks.\nOperations & Support\nPerform network maintenance and upgrades including patches hotfixes and firmware updates.\nMonitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure reliability and availability.\nProvide Level 2/3 support and resolve escalated technical incidents.\nMaintain accurate documentation of network configurations and changes.\nTo perform patch and software upgrade on the security devices and to ensure that they are implemented and functioning correctly.\nTo troubleshoot equipment and network problems and to open tickets to vendors Cisco Palo Alto etc. through to problem resolution.\nTo raise equipment Return Material Authorizations (RMAs) and to track these through to problem resolution.\nWork on developing network optimization and configuration reviews\nTo hold technology workshops with the Customers to discuss equipment and network problems and to provide case status updates including the reasons for any problems encountered and the workarounds and/or solutions.\nSupport design and operations and planning of Network & Security products within the Customer infrastructure\nResponsible for maintaining documentation diagram Incident Reports Root Cause Analysisand Quarterly Health Checks.\nProject & Vendor Management\nLead strategic infrastructure projects and coordinate with cross-functional teams.\nManage vendor relationships and evaluate new technologies.\nEnsure timely delivery of network solutions within budget and scope.\nPrepare LLDs as per approved HLD proposed by Pre-Sales Team.\nPrepare Network Diagrams and MOPs.\nPrepare UAT activities and update implementation related documents.\nBasic Qualifications\nBachelors degree minimum required in Computer Sciences\nCCIE (Enterprise Infrastructure &Security track or Data Center) is Preferred\n15 years experience in Implementing and managing Enterprise Networking & Security Solutions from multiple vendors.\nDetailed technical experience in installation operation & migration of next generation firewalls Cisco FTD Palo Alto and FortiGate Firewalls.\nProven experience with Cisco Juniper Palo Alto Fortinet or similar technologies.\nStrong knowledge of IP NAT Site-to-Site IPSec and Remote SSL VPNs URL Filtering\nExpert level hands-on experience with Cisco ACI SD-WAN Umbrella Email Security Gateway and Web Security cloud poxy and on-prem solutions.\nAdvanced Implementation and hands-on experience on Application Delivery Controllers (ADC) Load Balancers (F5 Citrix Radware).\nImplementation and Operation experience with Cisco ISE NAC Solution.\nIn depth experience in Threat Prevention and network AMP technologies Cisco Firepower and Palo Alto Threat Prevention and Wildfire.\nAdvanced level Switching knowledge with Cisco Cat9k N9K DC ACI and Campus layer switches: Vlans VTP Trunking Spanning-Tree Ether-channels Stacking\nAdvanced Indoor and Outdoor Enterprise Wireless Implementation and Hand-on experience (Cisco Meraki Aruba).\nCloud WAF (F5 Akamai Cloudflare Radware) experience is plus.\nExcellent problem-solving communication and leadership skills.\nTeam player self-motivated creative and flexible avid learner\nStrong Presentation skills.\nSpoken and Written Fluency in English.\nWhy join NCR Atleos:\nNCR Atleos is committed to being a globally inclusive company where all people are treated fairly recognized for their individuality promoted based on performance and encouraged to strive to reach their full potential.\nEEO Statement\nNCR Atleos is an equal-opportunity employer.
