Our dedicated 20,000 employees optimize the branch, improve operational efficiency and maximize self-service availability for financial institutions and retailers across the globe.\nJob Title: Staging Technician\nLocation: Rotherham, S60 1LH\nSalary: £27,449.90\nHours: 40-hour week\nMAIN RESPONSIBILITIES\n Manual Handling: Perform tasks involving light to medium lifting. Occasional use of ladders (up to 3 metres) required.\n PC Core Testing: Unbox cores (stored ~2 years), verify specifications, and test using Quick tech Pro.\n PC Core Pre-Staging: Load live image via existing imaging server (up to 20 cores at once) and configure comms.\n Packaging & Dispatch: Label cores with site details, package kits into a single box (core + EPP + drill if needed), and generate RICO labels.\n Stock Control: Monitor and manage stock levels (cores, EPP kits, drills), coordinate retrieval from secondary warehouse, and track all outgoing items.\nOBF Investigation: Diagnose and resolve Out-of-Box Failures using spare parts from Rotherham or salvaged returns.\n Returns Processing: Sort returned cores, recover usable units or parts for future upgrades (only Talladega’s return to Rotherham; others are scrapped via WII labels).\nKEY REQUIREMENTS\nStrong written and verbal English skills; able to follow instructions and scripts accurately.\nConfident in using Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel, to develop and maintain spreadsheets and create summary status reports.\nAble to operate engineering tools, including multi meters, test equipment, and drill machines.\nDesktop PC hardware and software loading experience is a plus.
