This role works closely with Product Managers, Developers, DevOps Engineers, and Release Managers to define quality strategies, perform testing activities, identify risks, automate testing processes, and drive continuous improvement of product quality.\nKey Responsibilities\nTest Planning & Quality Strategy\nParticipate in requirements reviews, design discussions, and sprint planning activities.\nDefine test strategies, test plans, and quality acceptance criteria.\nIdentify quality risks and recommend mitigation approaches.\nEnsure test coverage aligns with business and technical requirements.\nTest Execution\nDesign, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases.\nPerform functional, integration, regression, end-to-end, and exploratory testing.\nValidate defect fixes and verify system behavior against requirements.\nDocument test results and provide clear feedback to development teams.\nTest Automation\nDevelop and maintain automated test frameworks and test suites.\nIntegrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.\nImprove automation coverage to reduce manual testing effort and increase release confidence.\nTroubleshoot and maintain automated test execution environments.\nQuality Assurance & Defect Management\nIdentify, document, and track software defects.\nWork with engineering teams to prioritize and resolve quality issues.\nAnalyze recurring defects and recommend preventive actions.\nSupport root cause analysis activities following incidents or production issues.\nCollaboration\nPartner with Developers, Product Managers, DevOps Engineers, and stakeholders throughout the SDLC.\nParticipate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, standups, reviews, and retrospectives.\nCommunicate testing progress, quality risks, and release readiness.\nContinuous Improvement\nRecommend improvements to testing processes, tools, and methodologies.\nContribute to quality metrics and reporting.\nSupport initiatives that improve product reliability, customer experience, and release quality.\nPromote a culture of quality ownership across engineering teams.\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.\nExperience in software quality assurance and testing.\nKnowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.\nExperience creating and executing test plans and test cases.\nUnderstanding of defect tracking and test management tools.\nStrong analytical and troubleshooting skills.\nExcellent communication and collaboration abilities.\nOffers of employment are conditional upon passage of screening criteria applicable to the job\nEEO Statement\nIntegrated into our shared values is NCR Voyix’s commitment to equal employment opportunity.
