NCR Voyix is headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia, and serves customers in more than 35 countries worldwide.\n\nJob Summary\n\nThe Global Command Center (GCC) Site Reliability Engineer (I) is responsible for monitoring and supporting business-critical applications and infrastructure across hybrid and multi-cloud environments. The role provides first-level event and incident response while supporting day-to-day reliability operations, including infrastructure maintenance, certificate management, deployments, observability, and production support.\n\nThe engineer works closely with application, infrastructure, cloud, DevOps, network, and SRE teams to maintain service availability, minimize business impact, and continuously improve operational reliability.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nMonitor applications, infrastructure, cloud platforms, and customer-facing services for availability, performance, and reliability.\n Analyze, acknowledge, prioritize, and triage alerts and events, performing initial troubleshooting and escalation as required.\nProvide L1 production support and participate in incident and major incident response.\nSupport monitoring and observability using tools such as AppDynamics, Dynatrace, Datadog, Splunk, Azure Monitor, Google Cloud Operations, and ServiceNow Event Management.\n Perform routine infrastructure maintenance and server patching across Azure, GCP, AWS, VMware, Windows, and Linux environments.\n Manage SSL/TLS certificates, including monitoring, renewal, installation, validation, and expiration prevention.\n Execute and validate application deployments following established change and release processes.\n Support Operational Readiness Reviews by validating monitoring, alerting, runbooks, escalation paths, and support procedures.\n Identify recurring incidents, monitoring gaps, and operational risks and contribute to service improvements.\nSupport automation of repetitive operational tasks using PowerShell, Python, Bash, or APIs.\nMaintain runbooks, knowledge articles, incident records, and operational documentation.\nFollow established incident, problem, change, and event management processes.\n\nRequired Qualifications\n\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.\n0-2 years of experience in Event Management, Production Support, SRE, NOC/Command Center, DevOps, or Infrastructure Operations.\nWorking knowledge of Azure, GCP, and/or AWS.\nUnderstanding of monitoring, incident management, server administration, networking, SSL/TLS certificates, and deployment processes.\nFamiliarity with Windows and/or Linux environments.\nStrong troubleshooting, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.\nAbility to work effectively in a 24x7 shift-based support environment.\n\nPreferred Qualifications\n\nExperience with enterprise monitoring/observability and ITSM tools.\nBasic scripting knowledge in PowerShell, Python, or Bash.\nExposure to CI/CD and automation.\nUnderstanding of SRE concepts including SLI/SLO/SLA, MTTD, MTTR, availability, and resiliency.\nAzure, GCP, or AWS certification is a plus.\n\nKey Competencies\n\nEvent and incident management\nTechnical troubleshooting\nOperational discipline and attention to detail\nCustomer focus and ownership\nCommunication and collaboration\nPrioritization and decision-making under pressure\nContinuous improvement mindset\n\nSuccess Measures\n\nSuccess will be measured through effective event detection and response, service availability, reduction in MTTD/MTTR and recurring incidents, monitoring effectiveness, successful certificate renewals and deployments, infrastructure maintenance compliance, automation adoption, and reduced customer impact.\n\nOffers of employment are conditional upon passage of screening criteria applicable to the job\n\nEEO Statement\n\nIntegrated into our shared values is NCR Voyix's commitment to equal employment opportunity.
