This role plays a critical part in ensuring customer satisfaction, equipment reliability, and service excellence through timely on-site support and a strong customer-focused approach.\nPosition Summary\nThe Customer Engineer (ATM CE) is responsible for the installation, maintenance, repair, and overhaul of electromechanical systems within an assigned service territory. This field-based role requires strong technical expertise, independent problem-solving, and excellent customer service capabilities.\nThe position involves responding to service calls, diagnosing and resolving technical issues, performing preventive maintenance, and supporting equipment lifecycle activities to ensure optimal system performance and uptime.\nKey Areas of Responsibility\nPerforming customer installations, maintenance, and service calls in a timely and effective manner \nDiagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing electromechanical equipment, including ATMs and self-checkout systems \nExecuting preventive maintenance, corrective repairs, and full system overhauls as required \nDismantling legacy machines in the warehouse and test individual components for functionality and reuse \nManaging assigned territory efficiently, prioritizing tasks to meet service level agreements \nMaintaining accurate service documentation and communicate effectively with customers and internal teams \nBasic Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field \nSolid understanding of electromechanical systems and structured troubleshooting methodologies \nDemonstrated problem-solving and analytical skills relevant to field service environments \nStrong communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with customers \nAbility to work independently, manage time effectively, and travel within an assigned territory \nPreferred Qualifications\nPrevious experience servicing ATMs, self-checkout systems, or similar electromechanical equipment \nField service experience in a customer-facing technical role \nFamiliarity with preventive maintenance programs and service management tools \nAdditional technical certifications related to electronics or electromechanical systems \n#LI-ES2\nOffers of employment are conditional upon passage of screening criteria applicable to the job.\nEEO Statement\nNCR Atleos is an equal-opportunity employer.
