Join us and accept the challenge of creating a better tomorrow.\n We are seeking a Salesforce Technical Architect / Senior Developer to take ownership of our enterprise Salesforce landscape and lead the architectural design, core engineering, and platform evolution.\nIn this high-impact, hybrid role, you will bridge the gap between technical architecture and hands-on execution. You will design scalable, secure, and well-governed Salesforce solutions while continuing to write Apex, build Lightning Web Components (LWC), and integrate Salesforce with complex upstream and downstream enterprise systems.\nKey Responsibilities\nArchitecture & Solution Design: Design robust, end-to-end technical architectures across Salesforce core clouds (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud), ensuring alignment with enterprise security, performance, and scalability standards.\n\nHands-on Core Engineering: Lead custom development efforts using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, and Flow Builder, maintaining high standards for code quality, design patterns, and platform limits.\n\nEnterprise Integrations: Architect, build, and optimize secure real-time and batch integrations between Salesforce and enterprise systems (e.g., GCP, AWS, ERP, Middleware/MuleSoft) using REST/SOAP APIs, Event-Driven Architectures, and Change Data Capture (CDC).\n\nTechnical Governance & DevOps: Establish and enforce Salesforce technical standards, code review protocols, environment management, and CI/CD deployment pipelines (e.g., Salesforce CLI, Copado, GitHub Actions).\n\nData Architecture & Governance: Design scalable data models, manage data volume strategies, and ensure compliance with enterprise data privacy, security, and access controls (Shield, OWASP, Role Hierarchies).\n\nStakeholder Leadership: Collaborate with Enterprise Architects, Business Analysts, and product owners to translate complex business requirements into elegant, out-of-the-box or custom technical solutions.\n\n Essential Experience:\nProven Engineering & Architectural Leadership: 7+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience with a track record of progressing into solution architecture or lead developer roles.\n\nAdvanced Technical Capability: Deep expertise in Apex, LWC, Asynchronous Processing, Order of Execution, and Governor Limits optimization.\n\nIntegration Expertise: Demonstrated experience designing and building RESTful/SOAP APIs, Webhooks, and event-driven integrations with modern cloud platforms.\n\nDevOps & Automation: Strong experience with Salesforce release management, Git-based version control, CI/CD pipelines, and scratch org management.\n\nLocation: Sydney-based (or willing to work hybrid in Sydney) with full Australian working rights.\n\nDesirable:\nSalesforce Certifications such as Application Architect, System Architect, Certified Technical Architect (CTA track), or Platform Developer II.\n\nExposure to Salesforce Data Cloud, MuleSoft, or cross-cloud integrations with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or AWS.\n\nExperience working within Agile/Scrum delivery models in enterprise environments.\n\n Why NCS?\nThis is a place for people who like to get stuck in, bring ideas to life and make things happen.
