This role combines hands-on engineering with architectural thinking, working across APIs, messaging services, workflow automation, cloud-native services and enterprise applications.\nYou'll play a key role in delivering reliable integrations between business systems while also supporting and troubleshooting Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) integrations and application issues.\nWhat You'll Do\nDesign, develop and maintain cloud-based integration services and APIs.\nBuild end-to-end workflows using serverless technologies, messaging platforms and orchestration tools.\nDevelop reliable integration solutions incorporating retries, recovery, idempotency and fault-tolerant design patterns.\nPublish, secure and monitor APIs using modern identity and authentication standards.\nDevelop and optimise SQL databases, stored procedures and transactional processes.\nDeliver solutions through CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure-as-Code practices.\nInvestigate and resolve production incidents, integration failures and transaction processing issues.\nTroubleshoot and support integrations with enterprise applications, including Microsoft Dynamics 365.\nContribute to integration architecture, technical documentation, design reviews and operational runbooks.\nPartner closely with architects, analysts, developers and functional consultants to deliver quality outcomes.\n Essential\nSignificant years of experience developing cloud integrations, backend services or enterprise applications.\nStrong software engineering skills using modern development frameworks and languages.\nExperience with:Serverless computing platforms\nEnterprise messaging technologies\nAPI gateways and API management\nWorkflow automation platforms\nRelational databases and SQL development\n\nStrong SQL skills including stored procedures, transaction management and performance tuning.\nExperience with automated testing, CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure-as-Code (Bicep, ARM or similar).\nSolid understanding of cloud security, identity management, RBAC and secret management.\nExcellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.\nHighly Regarded\nExperience integrating with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365), ERP platforms or large-scale enterprise systems.\nAbility to troubleshoot D365 integration issues, application errors and data processing failures.\nExperience with Azure Integration Services, including:Azure Functions\nAzure Service Bus\nAzure Logic Apps\nAzure API Management (APIM)\n\nUnderstanding of enterprise data models, distributed systems and high-volume transaction processing.\nKnowledge of finance, procurement, accounts payable/receivable or project accounting processes.\nNice to Have\nExperience with integration patterns such as Saga, Claim Check and Event Correlation.\nKnowledge of resilience and circuit-breaker design patterns.\nApplication monitoring, observability and operational support experience.\nCRM or ITSM integration experience.\nPowerShell or automation scripting skills.\nAwareness of privacy and security considerations when handling sensitive data.\n Why join us:\nAt NCS Australia, you'll be part of a team that values your growth and development.
