You will be directly involved in building software that powers the orchestration, integration, and deployment of a fleet of heterogeneous robots. From interface design to system-level testing and deployment, you will be at the core of delivering robust and intelligent robotic solutions for real-world applications\nResponsibilities:\nSoftware Module Development\nDesign, develop, and test modular software components that support multi-robot behaviors, coordination logic, and system functions. \nOrchestration Engine Development\nBuild and optimize the multi-robot orchestration engine to enable intelligent task distribution and coordination across a fleet of robots. \nRobotic Interface & Interoperability Development\nDesign and implement interfaces for integrating diverse robotic platforms into a unified system.\nEnsure interoperability across different robot types and vendors using standardized or custom robotics middleware frameworks.\nSystem Testing & Production Rollout\nConduct comprehensive system-level and integration testing.\nDeploy and validate the system in real-world environments with focus on reliability and stability. \nUser Engagement & Requirements Engineering\nParticipate in user workshops and discussions to understand operational challenges.\nTranslate user needs into detailed user stories and technical requirements. \nDocumentation & Knowledge Management\nCreate and maintain clear, structured technical documents including system design specs, operation manuals, and deployment guides.\nTeam Collaboration & Mentorship\nMentor junior engineers and interns, providing technical guidance and support.\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams including robotics, AI, and product teams to ensure successful solution rollouts.\n The ideal profile should have:\nBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Robotics, or a related engineering field.\n5+ years of experience in software/system development, preferably involving robotics or distributed systems.\nStrong programming proficiency in Java, Python, or similar languages.\nHands-on ROS/ROS2 and real-time robotic systems experience.\nDocker, Kubernetes or containerization experience\nMQTT, DDS or robotics messaging protocal knowledge.\nSolid grasp of system integration, message-passing and robotic protocols.\nUnit/integration testing and CI/CD pipeline experience\nProduction rollout and system upgrade experience\nStrong documentation and technical communication skills\nRequired Leadership skills:\n3+ years leading software engineering teams\n3+ years managing offshore/OEM vendors\nStrong communication: simplify complex technical concepts\nPreferred:\nExperience with robotics middleware (e.g., Open-RMF, VDA5050, vendor SDKs)\nFamiliarity with path-planning (e.g., A*, Dijkstra, RRT) and optimization\nRobot interoperability design, including multi-vendor integration\nExposure to robotic deployments (inspection, delivery, concierge)\n We are driven by our AEIOU beliefs-Adventure, Excellence, Integrity, Ownership, and Unity-and we seek individuals who embody these values in both their professional and personal lives.
