NCS is a subsidiary of the Singtel Group.\n Job Summary\nThe System Engineer is responsible in the following:\nManaging and monitoring all installed systems and infrastructure\nInstalling, configuring, testing and maintaining operating systems, application software and system management tools\nEnsuring the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability.\nCreate and maintain jobs in EFT application.\nPerform health checks for jobs after monthly infra maintenance.\nResponsibilities | CORE\nManage and monitor all installed systems and infrastructure\nInstall, configure, test and maintain operating systems, application software and system management tools\nPerform system patching, application deployment and reporting.\nProactively ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability\nMonitor and test application performance for potential bottlenecks, identify possible solutions, and work with developers to implement those fixes\nMaintain security, backup, and redundancy strategies\nWrite and maintain custom scripts to increase system efficiency and lower the human intervention time on any tasks\nPerform SLIFT key/ SFTP Password/ SSL and RDP Cert changes.\nExperience with PKI, Titan SFPT software\n Essential Qualifications\nAt least 2 years of working experience in Information Technology.\nGood knowledge of file transfer and security technologies, such as SFTP, file encryption etc.\nGood knowledge of Java Web Application development, JEE frameworks.\nKnowledge of COTS and tools listed for EAI-MFT.\nKnowledge of XML, Oracle PL/SQL and MS SQL query language.\nKnowledge of Windows administration, scripting and UNIX/LINUX cron.\nOnly Singaporeans\nPreferred Attributes\nHave strong interest in investigating and identifying causes of issues, and able to propose solutions to rectify the issue.\nGood writing and verbal communication skills.\nGood team player, responsible and conscientious.\nResourceful, independent, responsive and pro-active.\nInitiative and strong commitment to results and quality standards\nTeam player with strong communication and interpersonal skills\nSelf-motivated with positive attitude and high energy\nCustomer-focused with strong service orientation\n**** This is an 1 year external contractor (EC) position.
