NCS is a subsidiary of the Singtel Group.\n Role Overview\nWe are looking for a hands-on Robotics Experience & Events Coordinator to build and operate a new business around humanoid robotics shows, demonstrations and technology experiences.\nThis role will own the end-to-end event lifecycle - from event concept, client engagement through to costing, planning, logistics, technical coordination and on-site execution.\nThe successful candidate will continuously develop new show concepts, audience experiences, robotics demonstrations and event packages that differentiate our offering and create business.\nYou will lead a small technical operations team of up to 2 team members, working closely with robotics engineers, vendors and clients to deliver safe, reliable and engaging live experiences.\nKey Responsibilities\n1. Event Concept\nDevelop innovative concepts for humanoid robotics shows, demonstrations, corporate events, exhibitions, and public experiences.\nDevelop repeatable show packages and customised experiences based on client requirements.\nWork with technology and robotics teams to translate emerging capabilities into compelling event experiences.\nResearch robotics and event trends to continuously refresh the company's show portfolio.\n2. Event Planning\nOwn the end-to-end planning and execution of events from initial brief to post-event review.\nCoordinate venue requirements including space, flooring, power, connectivity, access, storage and operating conditions.\nConduct site surveys and technical walkthroughs to identify operational constraints early.\nCoordinate rehearsals, demonstrations, stage movements, audience interaction and show cues.\nManage event setup, live operations and teardown.\n3. Resource Planning\nPrepare event quotations, budgets and cost models covering:Robot and technical resources\nManpower\nVenue, connectivity requirements, Logistics and transportation\nInsurance and permits\nCustomisation and content development\nSetup and stand down\n\nBuild reusable costing templates and event packages to improve work efficiency.\n4. Robotics & Technical Operations\nCoordinate with robotics engineers and operators to ensure robots are event-ready.\nPlan robot deployment, transportation, charging, batteries, controllers, networking and supporting equipment.\nEnsure pre-event testing, rehearsal and technical readiness.\nEstablish operational checklists and contingency plans for robot or technology failures.\nCoordinate technical troubleshooting during live events and ensure appropriate escalation.\nMaintain equipment inventory, readiness schedules and deployment records.\n5. Safety & Risk Management\nIncorporate robotics-specific safety requirements into every event plan.\nEstablish robot operating zones, crowd separation, emergency stop procedures and safe operating protocols.\nConduct event risk assessments and ensure appropriate mitigation measures are in place.\nCoordinate relevant venue requirements, permits, insurance and safety documentation.\nDevelop contingency plans for robot failure, network failure, power issues, venue changes and other show disruptions.\n6. Point of Contact\nAct as the primary client contact from initial enquiry through event completion.\nUnderstand client objectives and translate them into practical robotics experiences.\nManage expectations around robot capabilities, limitations, operating conditions and show requirements.\n Candidate Profile\nWe are looking for someone who combines event management discipline with a technology mindset.\nRequired\n1+ years of experience in event management, exhibitions, technology demonstrations or related fields.\nProven experience managing events end-to-end, including planning, costing, logistics and on-site execution.\nAbility to manage budgets, quotations and vendor negotiations.\nComfortable working hands-on in a fast-moving environment.\nStrong problem-solving ability under live-event pressure.\nWillingness to work evenings, weekends and travel when required.\nStrong interest in robotics, AI and emerging technologies.\nThis is an opportunity for someone who wants to help build a new category of business - not simply manage events.\nThis is a part-time contract position.
