NCS is a subsidiary of the Singtel Group.\n What will you do?\nAs a Tech Lead, you will have to -\nLead technical delivery for complex projects\nGet your hands dirty by debugging the issue with the team\nCoach junior developments on good software engineering practices\nUnderstand the business requirements and translate them into the technical requirement\nWork with upstream and downstream applications, infra and cyber team for integrations issues, design issues and troubleshooting of technical issues\nManage internal and client stakeholder\nAssign work to team, track their work and able to complete your own work along\nImplement best-in-class engineering practices using NCS standards. \nCollaborate with architects on solution design and technical governance. \nEnsure best practices, frameworks and re-useable components are employed in the project. \nDrive DevSecOps adoption and ensure application security compliance. \nDevelop and review the low level design for the modules/services \n The ideal candidate should possess:\nDue to government project sensitivity, we will only consider Singapore Citizen\nDegree in Computer Science or related technical field or equivalent work experience\nProficient in spoken and written English\nA can-do attitude and ability to work in grey areas.\nMore than 6 years of hands-on experience in development and deployment of Java technologies\nBackend development using Spring Boot framework\nFrontend development using React JS, Angular, Typescript\nRelational Databases like Postgres, Oracle Database and MS SQL \nExperience with Docker, Kubernetes\nExperience in migrating a monolith to microservices architecture\nExperience in CI/CD\nGood understanding of Windows and Linux\nHands-on experience in basic monitoring using tools like Splunk, Elastic, AppDynamics etc.\nStrong hands-on expertise in the primary tech stack (languages - Java, .NET, or Python, frameworks, CI/CD, cloud, security basics) to retain technical credibility and make informed decisions \nModule design skills: designing services, APIs, data models, and non-functional qualities (scalability, performance, reliability) at module or subsystem level. \nSolid experience as a Senior Developer or Tech Lead in enterprise projects. \nStrong coding and design skills in Java. \nFamiliarity with cloud-native architectures, CI/CD pipelines, and security practices. \nPassion for learning architecture principles and solutioning.\nExposure to AI assisted coding tools such as Github Copilot, Cursor and Claude Code\n We are driven by our AEIOU beliefs-Adventure, Excellence, Integrity, Ownership, and Unity-and we seek individuals who embody these values in both their professional and personal lives.
