NCS is a subsidiary of the Singtel Group.\n As an AI Product Engineer, you will design and develop the systems that let AI perceive, reason about, and act in physical space - turning buildings into intelligent, responsive environments for robots and people.\nWhat You'll Do\nJoin an AI product team with the mission to create a living lab for physical AI.\nArchitect the AI-driven stack end to end, and build with AI-native tools and workflows.\nTranslate customer vision and challenges into technical requirements and innovate on solutioning.\nDevelop prototypes and proofs of concept.\nEngage users and clients across the product lifecycle.\nDesign spatial intelligence systems: turn sensor, vision, and IoT data into a live, structured understanding of physical space - occupancy, object/asset location, environmental state, and spatial relationships between people, rooms, and equipment.\nDevelop and integrate physical AI / robotics systems: perception (vision, sensor fusion), planning, and control for robots and autonomous agents operating in real workplace environments - working with existing robotics stacks (e.g., ROS/ROS2) rather than building from scratch where possible.\nWhat You'll Own\nDriving an active, high-velocity living lab for physical AI.\nPrototypes and roadmap - from 6-week sprints to 24-month bets.\nDemos and POCs to showcase, test, and gather feedback for iteration.\nPOVs and approach for adapting and applying physical AI across the living lab.\n We're looking for someone AI-native - who reaches for a model, an agent, or a learned system as the default design tool.\nAI-native by default - you reach for models, agents, and learned systems as your primary design tool.\nDemonstrated experience architecting AI-driven systems.\nExposure to physical/spatial AI or robotics - perception, SLAM/mapping, sensor fusion, robot planning/control, or spatial computing such as Gaussian splatting.\nExperience building evaluation frameworks/harnesses for AI systems.\nStrong engineering fundamentals as the supporting layer - Python, C++, or similar; APIs; data pipelines; comfort with robotics tooling (e.g., ROS/ROS2).\nOperates independently within a small squad.\nA practitioner of the product mindset.\nA solid team player with a sense of adventure.\n We are driven by our AEIOU beliefs-Adventure, Excellence, Integrity, Ownership, and Unity-and we seek individuals who embody these values in both their professional and personal lives.
